To all my wonderful clients I want to say a huge thank you for such a busy few months, unfortunately 😕 I'll have to take some time off now for 6 weeks as I'm having surgery and I'm not allowed to do my favourite job until the middle of June, I'll let you all know when I'm back and what appointments I have available in June, thanks in advance for your understanding and if it goes well, I'll be open earlier than planned. 🥰 In the meantime for my local clients, I would always recommend the beautiful Aisling in Harmony Lodge and the beautiful Sam at Be Beautiful for all your massage and facial needs # # #

We are wintering 🥰

Your body does not belong to them you know…
the industries.

The ones who sell you last-minute diets, then watch in glee as you lose yourself amongst the treats, before calling you back as you descend into a spiral of guilt, to begin another year.

They want you exhausted, they want you ashamed, they want you desperate.

But your body does not need them my friend, your body, in fact, knows exactly what it needs.

It needs rest. It needs light, fresh air. It needs water.
It needs acceptance, kindness.
It even needs fun.

Most of all, it needs not to be bombarded with everything at once, and then nothing at all.
Stay checked in.
Enjoy your meals.
Eat with peace.
With love.
Never guilt.
Guilt festers and rots.

Your body is not a display piece, for the world to judge.
It is your home.
It is where you do your living.

And a little bit of festive cheer need never deplete you of your pride.

You can start the new year, full of food, full of happy memories, and full of acceptance that this is living.

And balance will come, as balance does.

Without shame playing any part at all.

Humans do not come perfectly packaged, with a warranty or guarantee.

We are miracles of science, nature and a little magic.
Born of centuries of incredible ancestors who walked through fire and ice to bring us to life.

And we cannot be tamed into a neat little box.

Stop chasing the ideal of a woman you were not born to be and start embracing she who is fizzing fiercely to be seen, right in front of your eyes.

Let her out.
