I know technically this is FitDog’s job but sometimes it’s hard to call it ‘work’. Look how happy the little nutters are 🤣

UPDATE: Unbelievable response from North Dublin Cat Rescue Ireland who swooped in and took this lady to a foster home and will have her at the vet first thing.
All organised in the space of a couple of hours and the little cat was collected. Anyone who would like to help contribute to their care can donate via the page.
Thanks for all of the shares. A happy ending 🐾
***************************************

Does anyone recognise this lady? She’s been around the Nine Mile Stone/Baltrasna area for the last few months and was injured a few weeks ago and seems to be staying in one garden now.
Checked by the vet and no microchip found. Not in pain at the moment but will need treatment.
Very friendly and eats away happily.
I’m sure someone is missing her.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year from all at FitDog. Thank you for your support this year and I look forward to a great 2023 full of muddy paw prints!
In FitDog tradition, instead of gifts we will be supporting a charity for the coming year. This year’s chosen charity is Husky Rescue Ireland I walk some of their rehomed doggies and the charity does a great job helping huskies in distress. So today, put your feet up, spoil your pets and enjoy the day when you get to play with all your Christmas presents 😁

We’re all booked up for September!
It’s a busy time of the year for pet sitting and we’re fully booked for the month. Dogs, cats, ponies, fish… we’ve seen ‘em all.
We’re also getting ready for a big change soon as we work towards opening FitDog HQ this October. Dates and details to follow 🐾

I wonder if it really did come to it and if the hoover really did attack me and threaten my very existence, would Lucy dig deep and jump to my rescue à la Captain America or would she run away screaming “SEE?!! I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN!!”? 🤔

Anyone know this boy?

**Found dog**

Male terrier type dog found this morning in Churchfields in Ashbourne. Unfortunately he is not microchipped. He is wearing a collar. Currently with us here in the clinic. If anyone recognizes him please give us a call on 018499973

Happy New Year and here’s to a crackin’ 2022!
We’ve had a busy year with pets old and new, we’ve said goodbye to some older buddies ☹️ and had lots of laughs too. Each year FitDog chooses an animal charity to support and this year we’ve picked Dogs in Distress. Hopefully we can help them do their wonderful work. Looking forward to an exciting, big year ahead.

I guess a quiet evening in front of the fire is out of the question 🤯😀

the playhem continues 😀

Look at that lil waggley bum 😍

11/09/2021

Billy is working on his stealth. At 12 weeks he’s not quite at ninja level just yet 😆 🥷

How come whenever I try to take a “nice” photo of my own dog she automatically puts on the “Lost and abandoned dog found” look 🙄 When seconds before she was bouncing around like an advert for Happy Dogs Inc.!!! 😀

04/09/2021

Note to self: In next life make sure to come back as a cat.

02/09/2021

Two little angels 😇 Isn’t that right ? 😀

STUBBLES!!! Wheat has been cut so we’ve got new fields to go nuts in! 🤪

30/08/2021

Billy. 10 weeks of cuteness overload. The worst thing about puppies is you get nothing done. NOTHING! He’s the ultimate distraction 😊

28/08/2021

How come even the sweetest kitty cats can effortlessly transition into highly trained assassins with just the slightest narrowing of the eye? 😳

28/08/2021

Say cheeeeeeeese! It’s the weekend 🥳

27/08/2021

How do we get these doggies so p**ped, you ask? Simples, take two short-legged dachshunds, add a field of longish grass and a long-legged Lucy and just sit back and watch 😆

26/08/2021

Happy International Dog Day! May all your chewing be minimally destructive and your accidents be on tiled floors, that’s the best case scenario for a new puppy 🤣

Timeline photos 19/08/2021

We have recently seen an increase in new kittens coming to the clinics at 3-4 weeks old. At this age Mammy should still be taking good care of them. It is important that kittens are left with Mammy until at least 8 weeks old before finding their forever home.
Mammy feeds them, gives them essential antibodies, teaches them toileting habits and important social skills.
If you have any questions about adopting a kitten always call your vet for advice.💙🐾
