We managed to avoid the rain as these ladies joined us for the 3 hour trip this afternoon and the crew were very grateful for the lovely Quality Streets!!

This family from Portlaoise and Brazil joined us for the 12 o'clock lock experience today and got great views of the Buzzard and Grey Herons.

What better way to celebrate a confirmation than with a relaxing river cruise in the sunshine!!

Another sunny but cold and windy day on the water but it didn't stop this family from Dublin enjoying the Lock experience tour at 12 o'clock.

Well finally the river dropped enough for us to start tours again and it was great to be back on the water!! This family from Dublin joined us for the Malones Weir tour this afternoon and while it may have been sunny, it was still very chilly and they were very glad the boat has a great heating system!!

Big congratulations to crew members Derek and Pat who both received their Skippers licences today. Well done to them both!!

A beautiful day for the river and this family from kilcullen joined us for the Lock experience cruise and we got great views of a bat!!

Not the best of weather today but it didn't dampen the spirits of these folks from Dublin who joined us as they are staying in Kilkea Castle for a Hen weekend!!

This family joined us for the Lock experience today and the rain held off thankfully!!

We had a birthday celebration for Philip Quinn on board today and the weather was fantastic!!

This family from Rathangan joined us yesterday for the Lock experience tour.

These ladies came all the way from Cork to celebrate a birthday today on the Malones Weir trip and the weather was just fabulous.

Well, while the rain held off for the Lock experience tour today, the Levitstown Mill tour was not so lucky!! Although, we were only 5 minutes from the jetty on the return when the real downpour started so could have been worse!!

This family originally from Latvia joined us for the 12 o'clock lock experience today. Still a few butterflies and dragonflies on the wing too.

We had a visit today from Fiona Treacy who recently represented Kildare in the Miss Ireland competition and I think you'll agree, she definitely added a touch of glamour to "Freedom on the Water"!

This lovely couple from Tipperary joined us for the Tranquility Cruise this afternoon and even though its getting late in the season, there were still a good few butterflies and dragonflies on the wing. We also got great views of a little egret at Malones Weir.

We had the Webb family with us for the Levitstown Mill cruise this afternoon to catch up on some missed birthday celebrations and we had great views of the swans and buzzards. Even the cows came over to say hello!!

This family group from Clare and Laois joined us for the 10 o'clock lock experience this morning and though we got a little bit of rain, it didn't dampen their spirits.

This family from Dublin joined us for the Lock experience this morning. We got a little shower of rain but not too much thank god and nice to see the hire boats coming to town as well.

This group from Tullow joined us for the Tranquility cruise to Levitstown this afternoon and despite the lack of sunshine, there were still a lot of dragonflies on the wing.
