We got some feedback in our recent survey that some of our product sizes are too big 😅 So, we thought this would be a good time to explain why we choose bulk over smaller packages.

Our main aim at KoRo is to bring customers closer to the products, and one way of doing this is by reducing the journey the products have to take as much as possible. Food in small packages have to go through several different repackaging stages before reaching the supermarket shelves, whereas a 1kg KoRo package cuts these out where possible - heading to our warehouse and then your doorstep.

Also, these large packs mean less packaging waste (on average, we save 40% of plastic packaging material per 1 kg of food, compared to average retail packaging. This is a saving of around 17.5 g plastic per kilogram.*) and reduce workload for filling and better prices for everyone.

So, we made the choice to put more time and money into ensuring the best quality products from our amazing suppliers, rather than fancy packaging 😇
