I’m taking a few days off…
It’s been an eventful few days Long story short- B (currently pregnant eldest child) has given us all a bit of a fright! A few days in hospital- baby is fine, but B still very poorly- I’ve pulled rank and much as she’s insisting on going home she’s here on a ‘mini-break ‘ til she’s feeling better !

I’ve rescheduled appointments (check your email) but sadly I’ve had to postpone Wednesdays Parent Tribe meet… April dates to follow this week!

Whilst the circumstances are a bit crap, hubby is currently living his best life and is loving having both our kids at home!

Disordered? Deficient? Different? Divergent?

I'm a parent of two grown up children, one of them happens to be fairly neurotypical – the other, not so much!

Parenting can be a challenging journey, but when you add a child with ‘additional needs’ into the mix, it can become even more complex. In a world that values perfection above all else my child has been referred to as disordered or deficient - somehow broken – this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Like each and every one of us, my child is unique and beautifully made – perfect imperfection!
