Pleased to join with my colleagues Mark H Durkan and Colum Eastwood as well as all MLAs in Derry to call on the Permanent Secretary of the Department for Infrastructure to ensure the Caw Roundabout is finally signalised. People have waited far too long on this and everyone is very well aware of the urgent need to make this roundabout safe.

A main pipe has burst affecting a sizeable part of the ‘BT47 2’ postcode area. I’ve been in touch with Northern Ireland Water about the disruption. Engineers have been on site and hopefully all affected will be reconnected sooner than the 7pm projected time.

Good to attend the strike rally in the Millennium Forum today, supporting workers all over Derry out on strike.

Solidarity with our Civil Servants and teachers on their industrial action for pay and conditions. We need our local institutions up and running to try and deal with these issues.

Well done to the Foyle Valley Juniors and seniors I might add who travelled to Milford tonight for a very testing 5k. I went down with my son and there was some fine times posted from the squad.
