Well done students, great work.

Yesterday, Kenmare TY students sent off the 1500 physical submissions they have gathered for the government’s public consultation on trawling near the coast. There is one week left for you to make your own submission if you haven’t done so. You can use the ready made template or access the government consultation page for a personal submission on the students’ website https://kenmarebayconservation.godaddysites.com/public-consultation

Wonderful to see extra routes from Kerry Airport. I have asked the airport authorities to explore the feasibility of further routes such as Northern Italy, Southern Germany and Holland.

Kerry Airport has announced that French airline Chalair will fly to three destinations - Brest, Caen and Pau - this summer commencing on 29 th June. Flights to Brest in Brittany and Caen in Normandy will operate for 13 weeks until 28th September while the route to Pau near the Pyrénées will run until 7th September. To book visit https://en.chalair.fr/destinations/kerry . Pictured on the Kerry Airport runway were l-r: Basil Sheerin (CFO), Evelyn O’Connor (Customer Service Agent) and John Mulhern (CEO).
