Beaulieu House, Garden & Car Museum, Drogheda

House and garden closed. Please see website. Built in the 1680s, Beaulieu is a unique example of an early unfortified house built in the Caroline style.

A walled garden, terraced slopes and mature woodland surround this historic home overlooking the River Boyne, three miles outside Drogheda, Co Louth.

Thanks to Andrew for his video from Friday. He walked the solar array on the Power Capital open day to mark the energising of 22 acres. Original interiors, decorative plaster work and outstanding baroque carvings will fascinate visitors who are interested in period design and craftsmanship.
