Let me tell you about these bad boys. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We knew our dessert section wasn't cutting it, and we had to sort it. Ideally we'd make everything in house, but we run Thai kitchens, not bakeries, so we weren't sure it could work.

On testing day, Chef Dennis rolls in with a huge tray of options - some bought in, others homemade. He passed these cookies around as an afterthought - his heart totally set on a flan he had made.

But the moment we tasted them, lightning struck.
There were literally no notes.

We're all sitting there, shellshocked at having just eaten the best cookie of our lives, and Dennis just... shrugged it off.

As if he hadn't just wasted his entire career as a wok chef instead of a star baker.
