Alchemie Solutions
We build interactive learning tools to help students succeed.
"One of the things that I love about Alchemie that is consistently true is that their products are very well designed. Just beautiful, appealing to use, fun to use. And that's why I've stuck with them all these years.” - Michael Evans, a senior academic professional at Georgia Tech who’s used Alchemie for his organic chemistry course for the past five years.
We were featured in Crain's Detroit Business where our founders Julia Winter and Joe Engalan along with Nicole Kada and educators using Alchemie in the classroom explained its valuable role in advancing education and making it more accessible.

Learning chemistry is hard, especially with visual impairments. This startup is fixing that. Troy-based Alchemie is a game-based learning program, that students can use to draw bonds between molecules, divide electrons between atoms and more. The alternative text feature and new AI assistant, Piph, continue to make Alchemie accessible.
Our team had an amazing time at the in DC last week!
Our CEO Julia Winter demonstrated our game-inspired interactive platform for attendees, and it was a huge hit with the kids––excited to see you next year!
"When you’re coming up with an idea from scratch and you’ve never done this before it can be difficult to know where to start..."
Big tip for new entrepreneurs - look for support/advice from others who have gone before you. With Michigan business support system we were able to help find those people and funds to work with them. Thanks, Michigan Economic Development Corporation Michigan SBDC

Kasi: A Multi-Sensory Modeling System Doug Ragan has been working with the Alchemie team -- founded by a former chemistry teacher, Julia Winter -- for a number of years. They have been working over the last year on a new project, named Kasi, which delivers sound-based feedback to students as they learn with tactile pieces on a magnetic....

Chemistry is a very visual subject to study. With a lack of resources available, this makes learning chemistry an extreme challenge for students who are blind or visually impaired. Kasi aims to change that. With your help, BVI students can learn and understand chemistry too! Learn more about how he Kasi Kickstarter campaign here https://www.alchem.ie/kasi
