Did you attend GAA On the Greens or The Homecoming Event? Come train with the team!

Boys aged 9, 10, or 11 (born in 2013, 2014, 2015) are invited to join us for a Hurling & Football session this Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Don't worry about gear – we've got hurleys and helmets covered. Just wear something comfortable and bring water.

Good news! Tomorrow morning, the sun is expected to shine again, and at 11am, we’ll be back in action at St Saviours GAA Club with The Little Saints.

We’d love to see all the boys and girls who joined us at our Homecoming Event come along for some GAA fun and games. The Little Saints is designed for children aged 4 to 6 (born between 2018 and 2020).

While the kids play, parents can relax and enjoy complimentary tea or coffee.

The 2nd Deise Draw of 2024 took place live on WLR FM this morning, and lightning has struck twice for our club with another 1st prize winner!

Congratulations to our very own Shaun Corcoran for winning the top prize of €10,000! Shaun consistently supports our club, whether it's buying or selling Xmas Draw & Deise Draw tickets, sponsoring Xmas Draw prizes, or sponsoring jerseys for our adult teams. We are delighted for Shaun and his family.

Additionally, we had more good fortune with Kieran Murphy winning a €250 prize and Stephen Whelan receiving a €250 ticket seller prize.

What a fantastic morning at Little Saints!

We now invite every boy and girl in our club to encourage their friends, cousins, brothers, and sisters to join us at our GAA On The Greens Home Coming Event!!!

We also want to see the boys and girls we met at the GAA on the Greens at our Homecoming Event next Wednesday.

Following our GAA on the Greens sessions in our local areas as part of our Healthy Clubs Initiative, we are thrilled to invite all families from Knights Grange, Lackenwood, Templars Hall, Foxwood, Carraig an Aird, The Ormonde, Carraigea Crescent, Meadowbank, Woodlawn Grove, and Ballybeg to join us for an evening of fun and games at our club grounds.

Despite the showers this week, we had a great time with our GAA on the Greens in Meadowbank, an exciting Under 7s Blitz at our pitch and a fantastic turnout for our Little Saints this morning on our Astro.

Congratulations to Rían! 🌟 In just his second week attending Little Saints, he deservedly scooped our "Player of the Week" accolade. Keep Up The Great Work Rían!

Next Wednesday, July 24th we're bringing the fun to Carraig An Aird with GAA on the Greens at 6:30 PM.

The first Deise Draw of 2024 took place live on WLR FM this morning. St Saviours GAA members have always supported this important fundraising initiative, and we've been fortunate to have six top prize winners since the draw's inception.

Today continued our good fortune as Mary Reidy won the top prize. The Reidy family has always been extremely generous in supporting our internal and external fundraising efforts, and we are thrilled with this outcome.

Additionally, we were fortunate to win the Coordinator prize of €250, awarded to Stephen Whelan. He plans to share it with club member Vinny Abbott, who has been instrumental in tracking payments for this draw.

Tickets for upcoming draws can still be purchased from Stephen Whelan so be sure to give him a shout ⬛️⬜️

Pictured is Nicky Jacob, he was one of a very small group back in 1978/1979 who started a conversation about the the idea of founding a GAA club for the Ballybeg Area.

By 1980, St. Saviours GAA Club was officially established. Now an honorary member, it was wonderful to see Nicky this evening, still supporting our efforts to engage local kids 44 years later. His vision and dedication over many years has laid the foundation for all we do today ⬛⬜️
