Ballynacally Development Association would like to thank everyone - organisers, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and the community at large - for helping to make the 1st Christmas Market in Ballynacally such a resounding success. Special thanks to Connie Gavin Hannon for intiating and overseeing the event and to Liam Kirwan. Thanks also to the Cusack family who dressed up their 2 beautiful donkeys, Molly & Davina, in seasonal attire & brought them along for everyone to admire & take photos with.
There were over 20 stalls, with an array of goods on sale, from within the community and further afield.
An abundance of entertainment was provided by Ballyea-based duo Southern Cross, and by Trish Flanagan & there was a tremendous trad session with local musicians. Our community cafΓ©, Estuary Way, was also bustling with customers throughout the day. Many thanks to Eileen & her staff for keeping it all going.
It was a wonderful event that highlighted the community spirit that is ever present in Ballynacally.
The Development Association wishes everyone a very happy & peaceful Christmas & New Year.

Only a few days to go until Ballynacally Development Association hosts the 1st Ballynacally Country Craft Market on Sunday next, 10th December in Ballynacally Community Hall.
We are expecting a great variety of local handmade crafts - wood, wax, metal, greenery and much more. There will also be lots of culinary treats, tea, coffee and delicious hot chocolate and, of course, Christmas punch. Our community cafΓ©, Estuary Way, will also be open with hot food available.
Some great musical entertainment will be provided by local musicians on the day including, fresh from their brand new album launch, Southern Cross.
There will be a rare chance to purchase a piece of history in the form of some original chairs from the old hall.
Lots more surprises on the day, such as a photo opportunity with some seasonally attired local donkeys for our younger attendees.
All are welcome to this unique market event initiated & spearheaded by Connie Hannon; a Christmas event planned to help connect community that promises to be a fabulous & festive day out.
**Limited stall space still available. Phone 0851814031 or 0834432473 to book.**
