Meet the Team! Kieran – Managing Director

Our managing director Kieran is no less than an encyclopedia when it comes to slate and roofing knowledge. There are not many people who can identify the origin, quality and even the quarry a slate has come from simply by sight alone. This experience as knowledge is a result of over 30 years experience in the roofing industry directly attributing to the standing Blue Bangor holds in the Irish construction market today. There’s no better individual to have in the captains chair and we’re proud to have Kieran at the helm.

Meet the Team! Declan – Dublin Sales Rep

Fitting with his home county, Declan acts as both our Dublin sales representative and one half of the super duo that looks after the day to day running of our Inchicore depot. With a role that is ever-changing, Declan has to work on his toes, looking after our customers around The Capitol City as well as the Dublin branch together with our Inchicore yard manager Florea. Not much gets past Declan and you can be sure the standard stays high when he’s on the job.

In 1989 our directors, Kieran Merriman and Seamus Delaney came together to create Irelands first specialist roofing supplier, known as Blue Bangor Slate Company Ltd. Today Seamus has taken charge as our director of sales, leading the way with his expertise and experience at the forefront of roofing products and practices over a span of 3 decades. There’s very little in the slate world that goes unnoticed by Seamus and his knowledge is indicative to the success of Blue Bangor!
