Whilst our students and staff have been enjoying their Summer holidays, an exciting project has been unfolding back at school.🪴👩‍🌾 We are so excited for our Sensory Garden to be finished on time for everyone coming back to school in September! 🤹‍♀️🌻

And that’s a wrap! 👏 Thank you to all our students, families and staff this year for all your endless hard work and support as we finish another amazing year in school! 🤩 We wish you all a wonderful Summer break and look forward to welcoming everyone back in September (but not before lots more fun memories are made)! 😎

School is officially over and out for our students and staff at SMH and what an incredible year it has been! 📚✏️ This week has been a particularly special and emotional one for our students, families and staff of graduation class who officially graduated from school after many wonderful years of education. We are so proud of everyone of you always and wish you lots of luck in your next chapter! 👩‍🎓🎓👨‍🎓

Today was the junior students turn to cause havoc on the playground as they had a water fight with their teachers and SNAS. 💦🔫 I think our students were enjoying it a little TOO much 😂🤣

Oh no! It’s happened again! 😮🙊our senior students finally got their revenge on their teachers and SNAs this week as they challenged them to a water fight! 💦🔫 The staff look more drenched than the students… just saying. 🤷‍♀️

Venus and Graduation Class headed off to the Savoy cinema today to see the new Spider-Man movie! 🕷🕸 Not only was the film awesome, the hospitality from all the staff at on O’Connell street was amazing. Thanks for being so kind to our kids and staff. 🙏

A night to remember ✨⭐️✨
Thank you very much to who sponsored our photographer, magic mirror and popcorn machine on Friday night! You’ve helped our students capture pictures and memories that will last a life time! 💕 were absolutely fantastic on the night and really made our students and families feel at ease in front of the camera lens. 🤩

Congratulations to our seven wonderful Graduates who had their Graduation night on Friday!👨‍🎓👩‍🎓✨ A fabulous night was had by each student and their family and friends as well as staff who worked closely with them over the years. 💕 Whilst you will all be truely missed, your stars will continue to shine in our school for many years to come! ⭐️✨

Our senior students (and staff) had an absolute ball on their school tour to Jump Zone this week! 🚎😁 Everyone was very brave and enjoyed having lots of fun with each other. Thanks to for being so accommodating to us all!

We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded an Amber Flag by Pieta for creating a healthy, inclusive environment that supports mental well-being for our students and staff! 👏🤩🧡A huge thank you to our school wellbeing team who have worked extremely hard this year to achieve this award by organising a number of initiatives for our school in order to improve the overall wellbeing of everyone in our school community. 🧡🙏

Today marked a very special day for our four wonderful students from the Yellow Room as they made their First Holy Communion. ✨ The students have been preparing for their Holy Communion over the last couple of months and their hard work was very evident in today’s beautiful ceremony. 🕊❤️ Thank you to all the staff and parents of our students for making today so special, and of course Fr Paul for being so wonderful with the children. ✨ Thank you also to our wonderful parents committee for preparing some treats for our students and their families as they celebrated this special sacrament. ❤️

One of our favourite subjects in Graduation class is Home Economics. 👩‍🍳 We just love being creative and safe in the kitchen! We also love learning about how we can help our families at home and clean up in the kitchen after our meals. 😉

The Blue Room boys have been learning about the ocean this week! 🌊🐠 It looks like they’re having a whale of a time! 🐟🐬🐡

Congratulations to our four very wonderful students who were confirmed today in school! 🕊 We continue to be extremely proud of you. ✨❤️ Thank you to Father Paul for your kindness and patience with our students and to our families and staff who helped prepare our students for their very special day. 🕊 Thank you also to our wonderful parents committee for making up the most beautiful gifts for our lovely students. 💕

The Red Room boys have been learning their numbers and about healthy food with the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar this month! 🐛🍓🍎🍑 Keep up the great work boys!

Graduation Class are enjoying learning about different habitats all over the world this month. 🌊🪵🏜They made their own tundra habitats in Science, re-created an ocean habitat in art and enjoyed sorting different animals according to their different habitats as part of a literacy activity.🐍🐻‍❄️🐂 Well done kids! 👏👏
