JADD Project CLG
JADD Project offers a wide range of services free of charge to support those seeking help with drug and alcohol addiction in the local community.
JADD Project was set up in 1996 by a group of local people in response to the growing problem of he**in abuse in the Jobstown area. Many young peoples' lives were being greatly affected by the misuse of drugs and the negative effects of the Community as a whole were evident. In 1998 the JADD centre opened its own premises at Jobstown road, Jobstown. This was the first purpose-built Drug Treatment

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Jobstown Assisting Drug Dependency (JADD) is a community-based charity located in Jobstown, Tallaght, Dublin 24. JADD’s vision is to help our service users return to a drug-free lifestyle, changing lives and saving futures. JADD provides supports free of charge to individuals and families affected by addiction problems, including children of parents with addiction problems. JADD aims to achieve their vision through providing the following treatments and supports:
• Addiction counselling service
• Therapeutic family support group
• Family support counselling
• Childcare service for children living with addiction in the family
• Medical and nurse services
• Harm reduction services
JADD is funded by the Health Service Executive (HSE) addiction services, Tallaght Drug & Alcohol Task Force, and Pobal. To enable JADD to provide additional supports to families, including a weeklong respite break to Trabolgan in August every year for families living with addiction, it is necessary to fundraise.
To address our financial shortfall, we are reaching out to local businesses for their support in any way possible either by way of spot prizes for raffle held in Trabolgan or a monetary donation.
Should you require any further information on JADD, please visit our website at https://www.jadd.ie/ or call Jacinta on 01-4597756.
Yours sincerely,

As our Service users may have been made aware of yesterday 28/12/2021 JADD were on RTE and Irish Media discussing our Crack Co***ne services and the vital need for a sustainable investment to provide adequate crack co***ne support services going forward.
As of today, we have not been given any clarity of what funding will be available for crack co***ne services. We hope to resolve this in the coming days and weeks.
This does not impact any of our other services including Medical, Treatment, Harm Reduction, Family Support or Childcare and they will continue to operate as normal.
