I have wanted to make this rose petal lip balm, so decided to give it a go. It's a simple combination of rose petals and coconut oil, however I used mixed roses and the yellow undertone came out very strongly as you can see. The lip baml smells divine and feels lovely,regardless of the colour. I will try again with red roses and see if that gives a lovely pink tone.

Blessed Samhain. This astronomical festival is celebrated today, Nov 7th, on the cross quarter day between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice.
I have harvested some herbs, thyme, nettle, rosemary, sage, marjoram, calendula and some ropehips, which l will use for my winter wellness herb tea and tinctures.
May your ancestors bless and protect you on this sacred of days.

Rose petal infused olive oil, strained after 6 weeks on a sunny windowsill, and now ready for use. I love adding it to face creams or salves as it is so soothing.
