They Abbey Wedding Venue in Athy was the location for our latest wedding. The ceremony, drinks reception and dinner all took place within this period building which has been transformed into a beautiful setting, featuring an enchanting 18th-century chapel, a stunning ballroom and lots of on site accommodation for family and guests. Plus lots of opportunity for great photos and video.  ❤️

Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort and the beautiful Balyna House provide a fantastic backdrop for any wedding couple. Combining the manor house for the drinks reception with speeches on the back terrace, then down to the upstairs ballroom in the main hotel, guests were treated to a delightful experience. We were back here again on Saturday for our latest wedding. ❤️

I was back in County Waterford for a June Bank Holiday weekend in the sun with Sinead and Conor and what craic was had all day long. We even had a spin down to The Copper Coast for sandwiches and pics! Brilliant !!

When the sun shines at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa, I really wonder is there a more beautiful location to have a wedding than this. Kilshane House was the setting for last Saturday’s wedding and even Storm Kathleen couldn’t dampen the spirits as Cora and Paul arrived in this gem of a wedding venue in the Premier County. The magnificent Bellingham Castle hosted the wedding ceremony and reception for Emma and Paul on Wednesday and we even got out for a few photos after the hailstones and before the next heavy shower (well kind of...white umbrellas are very handy!)  

Our latest groom was a groomsman at his friend’s wedding just a year ago and we got to have another great day out. It’s always great to be asked back.   ❤️

Rebecca and Cathal were absolutely over the moon to share their “I Do’s’ in Gorey last week, our second last wedding of 2023. It's been a short few years since we were last at Druid's Glen Resort in Co. Wicklow so I was wondering would the high standards still be on display. I should not have wondered. Still one of our favourite venues in all of Ireland in terms of setting (outdoor ceremony amongst the trees), ballroom (size and decor), staff attention to detail (Nessa, OMG) and (Ollie, our buggy driver, great guy!) and all the team there too. And the food, unreal! (We ate al fresco and loved it!) ok, enough about the venue. We were delighted to meet friends from earlier in the year and to be part of this wedding and what an amazing day!   ❤️

Hayfield Manor is a sister hotel of The Great Southern Killarney where we captured our last wedding. While much smaller, it has the same great customer service, quality of food and general feeling of high quality. The Johnstown Estate was the venue for the first of just two weddings last week as things begin to take on a slightly slower pace here at Golden Moments. It was great to meet familiar faces and it is always fantastic when we are recommended by family and friends to capture any couple's wedding day.
