Congratulations to Club member David Collard who won his first river race rowing with our partner club Neptune RC . David stroked the Neptune quad to victory in a challenge against Dublin university boat club. Well done David and crew . The first of many #rowingireland

Happy international Women’s day to all our Female members. Our female members are very important to us and make up nearly 40% of club members. The female participation on the committee is also 40% . All ready for the new season

We would like to wish all our members supporters sponsors family and friends a very happy new year and hope the coming year is good to everyone. As a club we are looking forward to getting back on the water very soon and receiving our new Skiff in spring also as well as Traditional rowing coastal and offshore rowing we will for the fist time be competing in River rowing in 2024 . The Beast from the East paying us another visit. Unfortunately Wicklow Harbour doesn’t provide shelter from Easterly or northeasterly storms. What are the options : There have been many suggestions. Such as extending the East pier out well past the North Pier or even to sink a large ship out off the East Pier to create a breakwater. Whatever the solution there is no doubt one is needed.
