Brigid's Way
Brigid's Way Celtic Pilgrimage follows the ancient path of Brigid, Goddess and Christian Saint
This 9 day walking pilgrimage winds its way through many sacred places and magical landscapes from Brigid's Well and Shrine in Faughart, County Louth to Brigid's monastic city in County Kildare. For details of the next full 9 day Pilgrimage go to www.brigidsway.ie
Wishing our Brigid's Way Wells & Water pilgrims a beautiful last leg of their journey today as they head to Kildare, to Brigid's cathedral, site of the fire house, and her wells.
Here are some snaps from the past few days. The walk has offered much by way of contemplation and connection.
Check out our new Brigid's Way Hi-Vis too. Keeping pilgrims safe on route is important.
Please sign our pilgrim led petition. Walkers want signposts to enable them to make their way from Faughart to Kildare along the Brigid's Way route at all times of the year without one of the Brigid's Way volunteers as a guide. Let's make Brigid's Way accessible. Let's make Brigid's Way visible.

RTÉ recently created a mini program called 'Imbolg - The Fire Within' to celebrate St Brigid's Day. Why not take a little time out to find out what this time of year means for many folk, including two of our Brigid's Way Firekeepers, Karen and Sarah.
