Ursuline College Sligo
Established in 1850, Ursuline College Sligo is a Catholic all girls' secondary school. It was established in 1850 by the Ursuline Congregation.
Ursuline College Sligo is situated in 4 acres, nestling in the shadows of the majestic Benbulben and Knocknarea mountains adjacent to Finisklin’s Business Park and can be accessed by N4/N16 routes. The Ursuline order was founded by an Italian Angela Merici in the year 1535 in Brescia in Italy. Ursuline College Sligo is one of five Ursuline schools in Ireland. On behalf of the Board of Management and Ursuline College community, I would like to offer our sincere sympathies to Ceara, Moya and Joe on the death of their beloved husband and father. Tommie was a great friend, advocate and supporter of Ursuline College, right up to his final weeks. He served on the Board of Management, gave talks to students, offered sage advice when requested and took an active role in progressing our current major building development. We are forever indebted to him for his passion, enthusiasm, deep commitment to and love of all things Ursuline. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Le Chéile Schools Trust
