Her Moves - A Sport Ireland Initiative - #HerMoves Her Moves is designed to inspire and support more teenage girls to be active. It’s about empowering all young women, building confidence, and providing motivation to find something that gets you moving. This is a community for all teenage girls to join and FIND SOMETHING THAT MOVES YOU!

We celebrate women in sports week .. 4th - 10th March .. and to kick off the week .. we are delighted to announce that all 5 development teams (up to 147 players) will be training in the national basketball arena National Basketball Arena this Sunday from 10 am till 18.00.. starting with the U13s and ending with the U17s .. all the girls seeing they are part of a much bigger team ..

Also on today we had the U16s DLBB development team playing a visiting Spanish team. Big thanks to Malahide Basketball Club for hosting and arranging. 2 games with the squad split in 2. First outing for the u16s .. 👍

Last but not least .. the senior cup final .. what a weekend of basketball .. what skills and dedication on show .. now it’s Killester Basketball Club V Templeogue Basketball Club ..

Intermediate .. Meteors Ladies Basketball Club V Aer Lingus Ladies Basketball Club .. meteors not heading home and aer Lingus hoping to go show up once win once !!

Junior .. Dublin Raiders Basketball Club V Meteors Ladies Basketball Club … what a day so far ..

Well what a game from the U13s !! But now the U17s are up and won’t want to be out done .. Tolka Rovers Basketball Club V Meteors Ladies Basketball Club ..

and day 2 kicks off .. with a whopper .. Dublin Lions Basketball Club V Malahide Basketball Club .. 2 great young teams ..

Templeogue Basketball Club V Firhouse Notre Dame Ladies Basketball Club.. what a day .. what noise levels .. what a competitive day .. everyone turning up to play and slay !!

14.30 .. intermediate cup .. Aer Lingus Ladies Basketball Club V Meteors Ladies Basketball Club some amazing basketball skills and knowledge on show here and both teams (like all over the last 2 days) will leave nothing behind to win here !!

Now the snr leagues .. it’s Sunday .. it’s 13.00 and it’s just arrived Dublin Raiders Basketball Club V not yet left the building Meteors Ladies Basketball Club .. junior cup ..

11.30 sees the U17s take to the floor .. both clubs returning for a second appearance .. they could be chucking 3s or snowballs on todays weather !!

If the excitement of Saturday was not enough .. we are back in the oblates Sunday .. first up are the U13s at 10.00 am and it’s Dublin Lions Basketball Club against Malahide Basketball Club .. some amazing young players on show here .. what a start to the day ..

Last game of the day .. U15s at 16.00 .. and both clubs have been already in action earlier Saturday morning .. Firhouse Notre Dame Ladies Basketball Club take on Templeogue Basketball Club..

Saturday Cup final 14.30 and it’s the U18s .. Killester Basketball Club making there second appearance take on Meteors Ladies Basketball Club.. can’t wait ..

3rd game on Saturday .. U16s .. Templeogue Basketball Club take on Tolka Rovers Basketball Club.. long established clubs with plenty of cup experience in their bones ..
