Ian Kavanagh and Gavin Kelly represented Graiguenamanagh G.A.A Club at adult and U16 levels in the annual Official Kilkenny GAA Poc Fada competition in Gowran Park this evening, June 11th.
The distance was half a mile. Ian completed the distance in 8 pucks (winner 6 pucks) and Gavin covered the half mile in 10 pucks (winner 8 pucks). Well done to both for their outstanding achievement.
Graignamanagh Juvenile GAA Club
We cannot wait for Mondays ‘Festival of Football’ in association with . The groups and fixtures have been made with 8 different schools coming with their 3rd and 4th class students to give it their best. Fixtures will be emailed out later to schools. First round at 10 with Finals down for 1.00.
Best of luck to the 3rd and 6th years of Duiske College@in their Junior and Leaving Certificate exams. It’s a big moment but we know you’re ready! Get a good sleep, stay hydrated and have a good breakfast.

Well done Mr McCormack Pure Adventure Ireland
The Barrow Blitz Philip McCormack described the Barrow as Ireland's hidden gem. "The tourists go west or south, but here is the second longest river in Ireland". It is indeed a gem, as is the event, run and won by his son Patrick.
Looks like a great option for some of our students this summer!

If you are a young emerging Kilkenny musician, singer songwriter or in a band, Kilkenny Arts Office is inviting you to apply to be a part of ‘In Bloom, Future Sounds of Kilkenny’.
Who can apply:
-Musicians, singer songwriters or in a bands currently based in Kilkenny or -originally from Kilkenny
-An emerging/early career musician
-Aged between 14 – 21 years old

ROWING TEAM “The boys in the boat” Last session on the water before Schools Regatta on Sunday for Jody and Cesar. Duiske College is delighted to be returning to Schools competition for the first time in 5 years. Thanks to Ms T. Doyle for all her work here and to for providing training for our team.
