Prenatal kundalini Yoga classes...starting in February in Castleblayney and Dublin.
Sat Nam everyone ...just back after spending two amazing years in my home country, Argentina. There I was spoiled rotten and enjoyed every second of it...yes! every second...even the Argentinian crazyness, "porteños" bad mood, mad city driving, etc, etc... I have done amazing stuff there, I've met amazing new people, and I have rejoined my old amazing people, and I've learned new things there....which I'll be sharing here in Ireland. I'll be sharing some of that very very soon... :)
In the mean time, while I continue organising this page that wasn't look after in the last two years, I want to share this beautiful mantra with you.
Definitely one of my favourites...why? It's known for being a protection mantra and I definitely feel that protection I feel it in my heart and soul, so whenever I'm travelling by car or plane, or if I see myself in a difficult situation, this is what I chant and instantaneously I feel and see myself surrounded with this protective light...so I invite you to try it and let me know how it feels.

As we work on raising the energy up the spine, this energy becomes more ethereal and dynamic. Last night we focused on the fifth chakra, Vishuddha, located in the neck, in the throat area.
This is the first of the spiritual chakras and it's associated with the faculty of higher discrimination, creativity, and self-expression.
This is our energetic centre of sound, vibration and communication. It invites us to speak up, speak out and allow yourself be heard, it encourages us to communicate and express ourselves with honest and integrity.
It's time to engage in open communication, allow conversations with others to flow with ease.
Here I share some info on the fifht chakra and some tips to work on it.
Physically, this chakra governs the throat, trachea, cervical vertebrae, thyroid, parathyroid, menstrual cycle, digestive tract, neck, jaw, vocal chords, shoulders, ears, nose and mouth.
The colour associated with this chakra is blue. So as we have been doing with all other chakras wearing blue clothes and accessories is a good way to enhance the qualities of this chakra. Also eating blue foods: blueberries, blackberries, grapes, aubergines. Chewing your food consciously and thoroughly will also exercise the Throat Chakra and unleash the nutrients in the food for easier digestibility.
You can also use home decoration to empathize the presence of this colour at home: using blue blankets, colored lamp light, candles, etc.
Crystals and Stones: wear them under your clothes or have them at home or in your work place. The crystals for this chakra are aquamarine, turquoise, fluorite, tanzanite, lapis lazuli, agate and alexandrite.
Aromatherapy: pepermint, ylang ylang, geranium camomile and ylang ylang are some of the essences related to this chakra. You can burn incense and use essential oils.
Some tips to stimulate this energy center are:
-Speak up for what you believe in.
- Be honest about who you are.
- Communication and expression in any form: singing, painting, chanting, drama, poetry, writing.
- When listening, listen without judgement on others, when is your time to speak, do so with patience and calm clarity.
-Value your words and know that you are worthy of being listened to and heard.
In the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, we use mantra and sound to stimulate the throat chakra. With these vibratory tools we are able to encourage healthy self-expression and inspirational communication.
I hope you can apply this until we see each other again next Thursday night!
Love!!
Lorena.
The Heart Chakra (Anahata) is our energy point of love and compassion.
Located physically just behind the heart, this chakra can be incredibly powerful when used as a focus for meditation.
By meditating on the Heart Chakra, we are blossoming our awareness to not only personal and physical forms of love and compassion, but also to Universal love and the acceptance of the true self. The Heart Chakra embraces all facets of love.
This is a beautiful mantra for protection but also to meditate on your heart centre. :) Enjoy!

Take two minutes to read this beautiful story that my dear teacher shared! I will join my teacher and her student and many others! I will find my notebook and start tonight! First thing I can think of is being grateful for haven met this path of life and being able of sharing it with others.
Won't be hard to find other 9 as I had a great day today. :) Give it a try!!!! Sat Nam.
Dear Golden Bridge Family,
As I was coming downstairs after teaching in our Immersion at TriYoga in London, I saw a student who was writing very earnestly right after the 7-hour day. I sat down with him and asked him, "What are you writing? You look very sincere." Then he told me a story. "In 1998, things were not going well in my job, my love life, where I lived, with everything in my life. Then with great discipline I made myself write down every night before sleep at least 10 good things that happened that day to be thankful for. Sometimes I could barely find two or three things, and sometimes I could not find any; however, little by little they came more easily. After 18 years, I now have 35 ledgers all lined up on a shelf in my home. I have an amazing creative job that I love, a mate of 10 years, a beautiful home, and friends. I am convinced beyond a doubt it is the daily practice of writing. Thankfulness and gratefulness work." The next day in our Immersion, I asked him to share his story. With great sincerity from his heart he told his story. Everyone was so touched. I went out and found a beautiful notebook. And so it begins with myself and many others. Give it a try.
Thank you, my dear friend.
Sat Nam,
Gurmukh

We finally worked on 8th chakra, the electromagnetic field that surrounds the physical body.
Through this center of consciousness, we can easily experience realms beyond the physical body.
The kriya we did on Thursday help us to extend the power of protection and projection in the personality.
Protection from harmful and negative influences in our environment, it acts like a filter to cut through negativity and help you hold your identity in the midst of surrounding confusion or influence from others.
Projection, what others 'feel', 'sense' and 'get' from us when they are around us.
When The Eighth Chakra is in balance, we radiate health. We feel and project our power. We have a wonderful feeling of well-being and self-esteem. We are Healthy, Happy and Holy!
When it is out of balance, we feel cloudy and confused and our radiance is diminished.
And here as always a few tips on colours, oils and crystals.
The color associated with the eighth Chakra is white.
Oils: Neroli, Frankincense, Myrrh, Rose, Sandalwood, Jasmine, Lotus, Palo Santo.
Crystals and Stones: Amethyst, Clear quartz.
I'm looking forward to share with you the new year, new term and new beginning. In the meantime I want to share this beautiful mantra.

Last class we focused on the sixth chakra! Its Sanskrit name is Ajna, and it means to perceive. It is the seat of intuition located on the forehead just between the eyebrows. It is also related to imagination, visualization, dreaming and perception.
The Ajna is associated with the pituitary gland, the ‘Master Gland’, as it controls the entire glandular system which includes the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenals, pancreas and reproductive glands.
This pituitary gland is located underneath the Hypothalamus in the centre of the brain and is about the size of a bean.
This chakra also governs the eyes, autonomic nervous system, brain, mind, nose and ears.
These are some tips that you can use to balance it.
Colour therapy: The colours associated with this chakra are indigo, gold and violet. So as I mentioned before it’s good to use these colours in all possible ways, in the clothes you wear, the food you eat, deco at home, candles, etc.
Food Therapy: clear and light colour foods, wholesome gold and violet foods. Monitored fasting and avoid overeating.
Aromatherapy: sandalwood, lavender, violet, lotus, myrrh are some of the essences related to this chakra. You can burn incense and use essential oils.
Stones/Crystals: alexandrite, rhodonite, amethyst, clear quartz among others are associated with this chakra.
Practising gratitude in daily life, prayer and meditation, any activity that brings you peace and joy, rest, self- reflection, silence, writing down dreams are great activities to connect to the sixth chakra.
I hope you can apply this until we see each other again next Thursday night!
Love and hugs!
Lorena.

Yes!!! We are finally working on our heart centre, Anahata.
While the first 3 chakras are all about surviving and individuality, the energy of Anahata allows us to recognize that we are part of something larger, that we are interconnected within an intricate web of relationships extending through life and the universe.
This is the area where physical and spiritual meet.
The fourth chakra is located at the center of the chest and includes the heart, cardiac plexus, blood circulation, arms, wrists, hands, thymus gland, lungs, rib cage and breasts. It also rules the lymphatic system.
These are some of the activities that you can do to balance this chakra:
- Breathing exercises.
- Meditation.
- Express love to others and allow yourself to be loved unconditionally.
- Do that which makes you happy.
- Spend times around people/things/places that you love.
- Be positive and write things you love about yourself and others.
Food: green veg and gruits, green tea or juices. Any healthy food made with love and any foods that help circulation such as beetroot, lentils, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper and rosemary.
Crystals: rose quartz, ruby, emerald, jade, peridot, malachite and diamond.
Oils: rose, lavender, ylang ylang, bergamot and cedarwood.
Colours associated to this chakra are green and pink!
The element is the air! Our breath.
And these are some affirmations you can use on daily basis:
-I am loved.
- I love.
- I am open to accepting love from others and I am worthy of this love.
- My choices come from love.
- I share my love and light easily and freely.
And why not some beautiful chanting for self-love.....Enjoy!!

Dear all,
I want to share this info with you after our class last night!!! Just some info about the 3er chakra and a few tips on how you can keep working on it until next class.
Enjoy!!!
The third chakra, Manipura, is located between the navel point and the sternum. It is truly the sun centre of our being.
It is the energetic home of our will power, our ability to achieve, self-esteem, raw emotions, and self-discipline. Also, all aspects of the digestive tract, including the assimilation of nutrients are controlled by the 3rd Chakra.
The energy of this chakra allows you to transform inertia into action and movement. It allows you to meet challenges and mover forward in your life.
The third chakra is the centre of your self-esteem. Every time you judge or criticize yourself, you deplete this chakra and weaken your willpower.
Self-love, self-acceptance, and acknowledgement of your own worth are the building blocks of the third chakra.
On the physical level, the solar plexus chakra is associated with the digestive system, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
And….here the tips:
Colour therapy: The color associated with this chakra is shades of yellow and gold so wearing these colours as accessories or clothes (was the fashion this summer anyway) will help.
Food Therapy: Including yellow shadow and orange foods into your diet can be beneficial: honey, pineapple, banana, corn. Notice which foods digest easily and give you maximum energy. Any tea that aids digestion.
Aromatherapy: lemongrass, eucalyptus, lemon myrtle, bergamot, grapefruit and peppermint are the essence related to the 1st chakra. You can burn incense and use essential oils.
Stones/Crystals: citrine, emerald, topaz and amber are some of the stones associated to this chakra.
Some of the activities that connect to this chakra are studying something, write goals and steps to achieve them, sports and competitive games.
You can also use these images for visualization.
I hope you can apply this until we see each other again next Thursday night!
Light, love, hugs,
Lorena.
In the last class we focused on the second chakra with a powerful kriya and a beautiful meditation.
When your second chakra is balanced, the positive qualities you can experience are responsible relationships, relaxed attitude about sexuality, patience, and creativity. This is where artists draw from for that raw creativity and passion (then we need the fifth and sixth chakras to help us refine this creativity and express it).
The idea of balancing sexual energy is to take that inherently creative energy of the second chakra (think creating life) and transform it from basic sexual instinct into more creative and healing energy.
It is associated with the water element and its flowing qualities.
The colour associated with this chakra is orange. So as we said before wearing orange clothes and accessories, eating orange colored foods like carrots, butternut, oranges, clementine, and orange pepper. Light orange candles. Having orange flowers at home as the beautiful ones I’m sharing in this photo.
You can also use home decoration to empathize the presence of this colour at home: using orange blankets, colored lamp light, candles, flowers, etc.
Crystals and Stones: wear them under your clothes or have them at home or in your work place. The crystals for this chakra are quartz, agate, garnet among others.
Aromatherapy: jasmine, orange, mandarin and ylang ylang are the essence related to the second chakra. You can burn incense and use essential oils.
Some simple lifestyle suggestions to help balance a connection with the second chakra are: Get in some flowing water, preferably an ocean or river; drink plenty of water throughout the day; find an enjoyable outlet to express your creativity (cooking, drawing, singing, dancing, building, designing, writing, etc…).
I hope you can apply this to add to your connection and expression of healing
Love.
Lorena.
Ps: You can also visualize this beautiful images.
