Staff from University of Washington (Bothell campus) joined us this week IN REAL LIFE (!) to discuss the TEaCH CoLab project with partners from the Departments of Health, Sport & Exercise Science, Arts, and Computing, Maths and Physics at WIT. This is a COIL initiative (Collaborative Online International Learning) that gets staff and students working together across continents to discuss issues of health, connectedness and wellbeing. There are currently two students attending WIT from UW Bothell on an Erasmus+ programme generated by the project, and two WIT students doing likewise in Washington! The visit involved film screenings, meetings with community partners, and planning for future collaborations. It also involved walks in the mountains, pub grub and a tour of Waterford Walls! If you are interested in the project, you can find out more on teachcolab.org

Congratulations to everyone who received their results today. Some of you may be delighted while others will be disappointed with their grades.

Either way, try to find out as much as you can about why you received the grade you did by going through your feedback thoroughly.

For those who need to repeat, take a look on the Moodle page for the module to find out what arrangements have been made.

Above all, know that results do not define you and that there is always room to grow and learn.

Finally, remember that the summer lies ahead, and that there is always another sunrise on the horizon. 🌞
