.......so are you ready to take on 24-hours in '24 ?

Today marks 5-months (or 152 days to be exact) until the fourth edition of one of Ireland's most unique cycling events. It's not every day you get to race through the night but that is just one of the epic experiences of Mondello24.

Cycle through the darkness of night on June 22nd/23rd experiencing riding into the sunset and out of the sunrise in this endurance test that is open to both individual and team entries.

We will be opening registration for the 2024 edition within the next 48 hours so stayed tuned. In the meantime sow the seed with club-mates, work colleagues, or friends about a team effort that is different to anything you have ever done before.

My name is Jerry McCarthy
I didn’t take up cycling until my late thirties and even at that is was leisurely
I joined up with Tralee Manor west cycling club and shortly after started doing a little racing eventually made my way up to A2 , I’ve always enjoyed against the clock as apposed to bunch racing whether that’s a 5 min hill climb or a 40k TT ..
Started doing some longer miles during Covid and enjoyed it so decided to give endurance racing a go. My first endurance event was Wild ultra 300k in Mayo last year and have done 3 more since
