Our Story

In 1999 Holy Bagel's first store opened in Jerusalem. As business started to take off, we opened two more stores in downtown Jerusalem, a factory in the Talpiot industrial area, and franchises in Modi’in, Ra'anana and Geulah.
Since then, we have spread across the country and now have franchises in Netanya, Beit Shemesh as well as in various neighborhoods in Jerusalem.
All our stores sell specialty bagels, which are made with the finest ingredients, using traditional baking methods. Our stores have a warm design with emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.

Along side our stores we ventured in to full service catering, which began in the kitchen of our flagship store. By word of mouth, it quickly became very popular and well-known throughout Israel.

Holy Bagel started with a special partnership between Ari Dubin and Zev Wernick. Before Holy Bagel, both worked as managers of other food operations. “We had a lot of prior experience, and we knew how to direct our skills and market our product. We also knew there was a lot of potential introducing bagels in Israel”.

Through the catering operation and retail outlets, Holy Bagel is well known to a wide and varied population and has an excellent reputation and ardent following.

Holy Bagel has a loyal customer base, who include the Holy Bagel experience in their daily routine.
