We have many questions on what makes a home inspection successful.
Here is the recipe for success. You will need:
1- Obviously, an inspector who knows the conformity norms in construction (this is one area checked during the licensing exam). so be sure to get a licensed home inspector.

2 -As important as the knowledge of the inspector, the report provided by the inspector needs to be clear, detailed and practical enough so the Kablan's workers can actually understand what they need to fix. (Because the goal should be to have the repairs done without going to court). So the inspector needs to spend enough time on the property to find the defaults AND provide a thorough report with pictures and explanations on how to fix the issues.

3- You need someone who will check that the repairs have actually been done. This is why, it is recommended to bring back the inspector at the "delivery of the keys", so they can check the repairs and have the workers come back if it was not done properly.

We have had many happy clients. Because we provide a fully documented report with edited pictures to show where the issue is exactly and we will get the plumber, electrician, chatzaf, etc, to come back on-site during the delivery of the keys if the repairs were not done.

The price of a good service will barely be 0.1% of a 2 million NIS property. It is worth spending it.
