The Movement is a nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization that has been fighting corruption for 25 years.
The Movement for Quality Government in Israel works to fight both institutional corruption as well as oppressive monopolies that restrict competition, suffocate the economy, and hamper the quality of living in Israel. It is a non-profit organization (NPO) that operates in accordance with Israeli law regulating NPOs; each year the Movement receives approval from the registrar of NPOs, who works wit
hin the Ministry of Justice. The Movement is made up of several departments, including Policy and Legislation, Economics and Research, and Fundraising and Public Relations. The members of the Movement are invited once a year to a General Meeting, where the financial report of the Movement is approved, and proposed changes to the Movement’s constitution are discussed. The members of the Movement are invited once every three years to an Election Meeting – which elects the Board of Directors of the Movement (a 15-member body which convenes monthly). In addition to the Board of Directors, Eli Sulam acts as CEO of the Movement, and legal advisor Eliad Shraga acts as Chairman.
