The planet's biggest waterfall is in the ocean
The tallest waterfall you're going to see on land is Angel Falls in Venezuela (pictured), which has a drop of over 3,200 feet. But that's nothing compared to the Denmark Strait Cataract, which is an underwater waterfall in between Greenland and Iceland formed by the temperature difference in the water on either side of the strait. When the cold water from the east hits the warmer water from the west, it flows underneath the warm water, with a drop of 11,500 feet. According to the National Ocean Service, the flow rate of the waterfall is more than 123 million cubic feet per second, which is 50,000 times that of Niagara Falls.

RINGING THE TEMPLE BELL WHEN YOU ENTER THE TEMPLE
– HEARING SENSE ACTIVATED

People who are visiting the temple should and will Ring the bell before entering the inner temple (Garbhagudi, Garbhagriha, Moolasthanam or womb-chamber) where the main idol is placed. These bells are made in such a way that when they produce a sound it creates a unity in the Left and Right parts of our brains. The moment we ring the bell, it produces a sharp and enduring sound which lasts for minimum of 7 seconds in echo mode. It is also never decomposed even though the ghee is gathered from several hundred years. The mystery behind this is still unknown and also unsolved by science.

Ek Pahel NGO has been extensively working to provide relief services to needy and poor inflicted by the second wave of Covid 19 and lockdown. Till now Ek Pahel on field volunteers have distributed around 617 Covid kits and 627 immunity booster kits.

These kits have been distributed to Covid positive patients obtained from the list shared by CMO and also to people in slum areas and villages. Over 600 grocery bags have been distributed till now in more than 10 slums areas and 12 villages. Not only this, our on-field volunteers have distributed around 1500 pamphlets and put up around 250 posters in even remote areas of villages to create awareness regarding use of masks, sanitisers, thermometers and maintenance of social distance.
