Can UV lamps use for curing nails cause cancer??

No, they can't. Your hands are likely to be exposed in more UV light from the sun while driving your car than you will receive from nail service.

The bulbs used in UV nail lamps contain special internal filters that remove all UV-B rays. While UV-A exposure to the skin is equivalent to spending an extra 2 minutes in sunlight each day between salon visits.

The trauma you are causing to your nails when you pick gel off is awful. I know that sometimes you don't like sitting for soak, but that's the general way of removing it without causing any damage. Or may be it's anxiety or nerve that makes you pick?

But by forcing the off the nail via picking it, can peel layers off the nail plate, which then needs to heal and repair. You are essentially thinning your nails. Let's think about that in a way that's a bit more relatable.

Let's take a scab on your body after a cut or a graze as an example. What would happen if you picked that scab off? Your skin would be fragile underneath, it may bleed, and it will be left weak and vulnerable. This is exactly what's happening to your nail.
