Phirni. A simple Dessert North Indian Dessert.
Recipe :-
Ingredients:-
1.25 ltr Heavy cream Milk
1/2 Cup Coarsely Grind Soaked basmati Rice
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 cup sliced almond & pistachio
7-8 rose petal
15-20 saffron petal
Process :-
1. In a pan boil milk until it is reduced to 50%. Keep Stirring. Along with this soak the Rice for 20 mins, and grind coarsely
2. Add 2-3 table spoon warm milk to saffron, keep aside.
3. Once the Milk is reduced, add the coarsely grinned rice and sugar & continuously stir the mixture until it is thick.
4. In the end add almond & pistachio and saffron milk. Mix well.
5. Cool until it is at room temperature and then chill in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
6. Serve with almond and Pistachio & Rose petals.
