India celebrates National Sports Day on 29th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand. The day is also dedicated to the nations’ sports heroes and champions, honouring their contribution and dedication towards bringing laurels to the country. Students of class 6th and Ist carried out various activities to under the guidance of Madam Amita and Madam Sanjana to highlight the importance of the day..

Students of class 6 to 10 conducted presentations through PPTs , working Models display and roleplay of various topics of SST under the guidance of their teachers, Madam Sania, Madam Reeta and Madam Sukhraj . The entire event was conducted superbly by the students 🤩👏🏻. Efforts of the students n teachers are appreciated 👏🏻👏🏻

National Mango Day is observed on 22 July every year to honour the 'king of fruits'. The day is solely dedicated to the delicious fruit that people love to eat, or at times drink especially during the summer season. Mango day was celebrated by the students of Luvdale wherein they dressed in colourful clothes and made mouthwatering dishes out of mangoes.

Kargil Diwas is celebrated on 26 July every year, to pay homage to our martyrs and soldiers who had fought bravely to defeat the enemy and uphold the flag of our great nation. On this pious occasion Madam Bindiya Mehra recalled the brave deeds of the soldiers and paid them a solemn tribute.

The students of Luvdale School were encouraged to perform social service like growing plants or trees for a greener earth, donate mask or unused clothes to the needy to instill in them a feeling of responsibility towards the society and become citizens who can contribute effectively towards the development of our great nation.
