Let us all pray for a minute for the heavenly abode soul of Bhupal Babu. He had always been for his beloved Balasore and will eternally always be for them in some form.

However, it was on 3rd February, 2015, (then Magha Purnima day), when Bhupal babu's soul left his body while speaking at a function at U N High School in Rupsa. As heard from his dearest people nearby him, at the time of his speech delivery, he collapsed on the very next moment while he was enchanting the name of “Prabhu Jagannatha.” It is believed that, such royal death is received only by the chosen people of God.

The entire Balasore district lamented and was grief stricken for this huge loss to them.

His fame in terms of honesty, patience and cordiality made an introduction unnecessary in the society. None even from the opposition could ever think of doubting his honesty, in spite loved him for his magnetic personality. Such a boon from God, seldom take birth in the human form.

Instead of a Minister, he was rather more fondly addressed as someone’s Thaku, Aja, Mausa or bhai. Having been renowned by all the people of Odisha and several parts of India, he had always lived up only for his people of Balasore and termed each of them as his family.
