Our master bedroom is the least "decorated" room of our home. Mainly because it's incredibly hard for me to sleep. Wondering how these two are connected?
So the thing is, my mind is the most active at night. While I spend hours (no exaggerating here) tossing and turning trying to sleep, my mind is actively looking for things too see and things to think about. So the room I sleep in has to be free from distractions. Be it audio or visual. My fitted sheets are usually plain white (else I end up tracing the designs with my fingers, imagining different colour combinations , no kidding 😂). And that's why this room also has empty walls.
But me being me, I've been itching to do up the wall above the headboard. Have been mulling on a few ideas ... Let's see what works out 😁

Sharing our fall themed dining alcove. It's the first time I've consciously dressed my home in fall colours. Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not a fan of oranges and browns in my home... But one way to grow is by stepping out of our comfort zone...so that's what I've tried to do here. Incorporated small elements like pine cones, wooden candles and dry flowers and of course, fall colours! (check out closeups in my last reel 😊)

It's mid week and I couldn't be happier sharing my new table with you 😁.
All these months V and I shared a table and although it was quite big, (as you may have seen in my earlier posts) most of it it was occupied by the multiple screens and laptops V uses 🙈
