But the last few weeks have truly been magical in terms of my health and mood. After years I’ve experienced happy moods happy gut good sleep and better skin! And all I did was become vegetarian !
I tried going fully vegan , initially I did to heal myself but now here and there I add that ghee into my food or treat myself to that dessert :) also I don’t eat post 7:30 pm :) and hydrate a lottttt. I have no coffee cravings anymore or even alcohol ☺️

Protein is personal. Certain protein ( like the kind we discussed in the previous post ) overstimulate the immune system and create inflammation in people, especially in those with a hormonal imbalance.
Apart from our hormones, protein can also impact the gut, shifting the microbiome diversity and balance.
So it is important to choose high quality if possible :)

Before we go into the healthy sources, let’s explore what we know about the impact of certain protein sources on our hormones .
Protein makes up the building blocks of organs, muscles, skin, and hormones. Your body needs protein to maintain and repair tissues.
Studies have found that women who consumed a diet containing daily healthy protein experienced greater feelings of fullness.
Additionally, they experienced an increase in metabolism and fat burning.

Finding myself being drawn outside more... send help!
STROGANOFF - noun. Cookery. a dish of protein & vegetables sautéed with onion and cooked in a cream sauce of seasonings, and usually mushrooms.
I used chicken as my source of protein. It can be replaced with other plantbased or vegetarian sources such as tofu or paneer to make it vegetarian & the same method can be followed.
HOW TO :
In a pan heat oil or butter. Add in chicken strips, salt, pepper & fry until slightly coloured. Remove from pan & keep aside.
To the same heated pan add a little more oil, add in 1 finely sliced onion & 5-6 cloves of minced garlic. Saute until fragrant & slightly browned. Then add in chopped mushrooms, mix & saute for a minute. Now add back in the chicken strips & mix with mushrooms. Add in 1 tablespoon of tomato purée, 1-2 teaspoons of chilli powder & 1-2 teaspoons of mixed dried herbs, salt & combine. Next add in the cashew cream (mentioned below) . Mix well then add in water to thin out consistency but still keeping it creamy . Cover & simmer on a low heat for 5 mins. Then add in blanched broccoli florets or green capsicum, mix well, simmer for a minute & turn off heat. Serve with herb rice or garlic sourdough bread.
CASHEW CREAM :
To a blender, add 1/4 cup cashews, juice of 1/2 a lime & 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs . Add 1/2 a cup of water & blend well .
