Thrilled to see the garlic keeper as a favourite ! While I’m getting impatient to see the product on the website, I still need to know the perfect size to store garlic and here I’m really depending on your suggestions! How much garlic do you store? What’s the ideal size for a garlic keeper? We re also working on the grooves under the lid to make crushing and grating easy and efficient. Have you taken a look at our #giftboxes yet? Almost all packaging material- mainly gap fillers, outer boxes, bubble wrap, foam sheets are repurposed from mail orders. And we still ensure the packaging looks neat and clean and very presentable. Even our festive gift boxes are done with “minimum wastage” in mind. Yet, don’t they look elegant?

I must confess serving this queen of chaats at get-togethers was always messy and awkward with the “ katori” sliding all over the plate . I tried tiny glasses for the spiced “pani” and soup spoons to hold the stuffed puris , but nothing works better than these pebble bowls. Here’s how! - stuff the puris with the mashed potato stuffing and arrange them on a large plate. - keep a carafe filled with “pani” on the side. - lay out the pebble bowls for each guest. - now here goes! Pick up a pebble bowl and serve yourself a stuffed puri. It nests beautifully in the bowl! Now pour thé “pani” from the carafe - drizzle as much as you want… let it even over flow if you wish. This is the point where you’re into that “ pani puri wala” experience. - lift the soaked crunchy puri and shove it in your mouth. - messy but I can tell you , it’s a “joyful “ mess 😀 - help yourself to as many as you like 😊 No spilling and no sliding over of bowls and the hands stay neat and clean too ▫️▫️▫️ Give these a try!

Brace yourself for a longish post…😊 Social and environmental sustainability matters to me. Whatever we do, whether it is design, production, or any process, it is done thoughtully. And packaging too, we like to do it the right way taking care not to further deplete resources. With online shopping becoming a norm, products are being shipped everyday of the week from one place to another and even overseas. Packaging is necessary to keep products safe. But once they reach their destination - the packaging is a waste! So we thought of using up this “waste”. Why not give all these cardboards, gap fillers and all that comes with our mail orders a second life, second chance. That’s how we did it when we were a newly incorporated start up and that’s how we do it today, I remember starting with my own mail orders and material coming in the form of newspapers, brochures and magazines and other packaging material. Many of my friends and even buyers simply loved the idea. Gradually friends began helping me out with more material and today there is a group of beautiful people who believe in just not “wasting” and who “donate” material to LivingClay. How cool is that! So grateful to you all! Not that we never buy, but we buy the bare minimum and only when required. And yes, our packaging despite being made of “upcycled stuff” has evolved over the years. I’ve learnt ways to make sure the order looks beautiful when it reaches the customer. But “beautiful” has a new definition for us and users of . Hey everyone, once again apologies for disappearing from here. No, it wasn’t a break . Rather, a super hectic time. Loads of new projects and plans for September.
