The crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela) is a medium-sized bird of prey that is found in forested habitats across tropical Asia. Within its widespread range across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and East Asia, there are considerable variations and some authorities prefer to treat several of its subspecies as completely separate species.

Their diet consists predominantly of fish, with a few crustaceans on the side. Fish is their favorite meal. But they hunt in freshwater and saltwater, so they are not averse to aquatic insects or amphibians.

Grey Heron

The grey heron is a large bird, standing up to 100 cm (40 in) tall and measuring 84–102 cm (33–40 in) long with a 155–195 cm (61–77 in) wingspan.The body weight can range from 1.02–2.08 kg (2 lb 4 oz – 4 lb 9+1⁄4 oz).

Behaviour-

The grey heron has a slow flight, with its long neck retracted (S-shaped). This is characteristic of herons and bitterns, and distinguishes them from storks, cranes, and spoonbills, which extend their necks.

The birds often perch in trees, but spend much time on the ground, striding about or standing still for long periods with an upright stance, often on a single leg.

Crested serpent eagle

The crested serpent eagle is a reptile eater which hunts over forests, often close to wet grassland for snakes and lizards. It has also been observed to prey on birds, amphibians, mammals and fishes. It is found mainly over areas with thick vegetation both on the low hills and the plains. This species is a resident species, but in some parts of their range they are found only in summer.

Little grebe

This bird breeds in small colonies in heavily vegetated areas of freshwater lakes across Europe, much of Asia down to New Guinea, and most of Africa. Most birds move to more open or coastal waters in winter, but it is only migratory in those parts of its range where the waters freeze.

The ferruginous duck, also ferruginous pochard, common white-eye or white-eyed pochard is a medium-sized diving duck from Eurosiberia.

The ferruginous duck species are medium sized birds, measuring 35 to 40 cm in length and weighing 450 to 750 grams. The wingspan is 60 to 65 cm.

Both the males and females are dark chestnut colored. The backs are darker. The belly and undertail region is white. The male ducks have a distinctive pale yellow iris.
