Krishna Hospital

Comments

My father Mahavir Prasad Gangwal was admitted in CCU of Krishna Hospital, Bhilwara Rajasthan on 22April2021. He was there in hospital for 7 days. His oxygen level and everything had improved and became 95+. According to doctors, Dr. AJAY Garg & Dr. PANKAJ everything was in control. It was a no risk situation. On the day of his death, We met the doctors around 12 AM and enquired, they said everything is fine. There is no problem and things are in control. But we suddenly got a call around 1:30 AM saying he is no more. On reaching hospital, When enquired about what happened, doctor answer, not sure the name of night doctor, was patient had stopped his breath. How can someone who is unconscious stop his breathe deliberately.I don’t understand this reasoning at all. On being asked the same question again, they didn’t give any proper response. Their answer was ambiguous. There was no answer in what treatment was given during those 1-2 hrs, did they put him on ventilator or any other medical reason or did they call Senior doctor that night ?? Total ambiguous answer is not what is expected during these pandemic times. We lost our father that too when things started improving and getting better. I really doubt on recovery rate of the hospital. It seems there is not even 10%, People recovering. We are admitting our loved ones so that they get proper treatment and come back home recovered soon but here the situation is like never getting them back. Its totally unbelievable to how something happened between 1-2 hrs on which they don’t even have a reply.

When they sensed something was going wrong, they should have informed and called the senior doctors, also called the family beforehand. But none of this was done. We were just called at the end.

I don’t know if they even gave a try to save life or was it just a occupied bed for them. It’s extremely sad to see such behaviour during these tough times when we only rely on the doctors to save us and our loved ones.

You and your baby are unique. Making the decision of is a personal matter. But we can surely provide some overview about how beneficial it is for both of y’ll-
Here are a few science based benefits-
1. Breast milk contains everything your baby needs for the first six months of life, with the possible exception of vitamin D. The first milk is thick, rich in protein and loaded with beneficial compounds.
2. Breast milk is loaded with antibodies, especially immunoglobin A, which can help prevent or fight illness in your baby.
3. Breastfeeding may reduce your baby's risk of infections and many diseases, including allergy, celiac disease and diabetes.
4. Breastfed babies have lower obesity rates than formula-fed babies. They also have more leptin and more beneficial gut bacteria.
5. Breastfeeding may affect your baby's brain development and reduce the risk of future behavior and learning problems.
6. Breastfeeding may make weight loss harder for the first 3 months after delivery. However, it may actually help with weight loss after the first 3 months.
7. Breastfeeding increases oxytocin production, a hormone that causes contractions in the uterus. It reduces blood loss after delivery and helps the uterus return to its previous smaller size.
8. Breastfeeding for more than one year is linked to a 28% lower risk of breast and ovarian cancer. It has also been linked to a reduced risk of several other diseases.

Avoiding is easier if you have all the facts. Let’s dispel some of the most popular myths I’ve heard:

Myth 1
Patients with kidney stones cannot eat tomatoes.
Fact: Patients can eat tomatoes without any fear, as it is only contraindicated when the blood potassium level is too high in the patient’s blood. Eating tomatoes, ladyfinger, and other seeded- vegetables in normal quantities have no role in causing kidney stones.

Myth 2
Diet for every patient having kidney stones is the same.
Fact: The diet for kidney stones varies with the type of stone and severity of the condition. Any food which is eaten in moderation can never lead to any medical problem.

Myth 3
An individual should take plenty of all kinds of fluids to get rid of stones.
Fact: The best fluid to prevent kidney stones is water. One can have plenty of water with some added lemon juice, without sugar or salt in particular. All other kinds of fluids, such as tea, coffee, sodas, soft drinks, should be taken in smaller quantities. All these fluids cause increased flow of urine but ultimately cause loss of bodily fluids. On a rough scale, each cup of tea causes the body to lose at least two glasses of water.

Myth 4
Staying in the air conditioned atmosphere has no relation with the kidney stone formation.
Fact: The air-conditioned atmosphere removes moisture from the environment. So, if the patient lives and works in the air-conditioned atmosphere for a very long period, it may leads to a kidney stone.

Myth 5
Drinking milk causes kidney stones.
Fact: Dietary calcium does not cause kidney stones. In fact, in some cases additional calcium in their diet and adding things like milk and yogurt may help to prevent kidney stones.

Myth 6
Drinking cranberry juice will help you pass kidney stones or help prevent them altogether.
Fact: Drinking cranberry juice may help to prevent urinary tract infections but not kidney stones. If you’re looking for something to drink with flavor that can help prevent kidney stones, your best bet is lemon juice and orange juice.

Do not neglect your baby’s health by neglecting your own!

Sharing some myths and facts for Pre-Labor Nutrition:

•Myth: Now that you are pregnant, you should be eating for two.
•Fact: It is true that your nutrient needs increase, but energy requirements only increase by about 300 calories per day for the second and third trimester of pregnancy.

•Myth: Gaining less weight during pregnancy will make delivery easier.
•Fact: Mothers who do not gain enough weight during pregnancy place their babies at risk for severe complications such as premature birth, which can cause lung and heart problems.

•Myth: If you gain the right amount of weight during pregnancy, none of it will be fat gain.
•Fact: A healthy pregnancy includes fat storage. Your body uses this excess fat as energy during labor and breastfeeding.

•Myth: Pregnant women only crave the foods their bodies need.
•Fact: Pregnant women can crave foods of any type. Cravings should not be the sole indicator of nutritional needs.

•Myth: A pregnant woman who is healthy will not experience discomforts.
•Fact: Nausea, heartburn, and constipation are not biased! They will afflict women regardless of healthy living. However, women who regularly eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and avoid excess sugar and fat may significantly reduce these uncomfortable symptoms.
