Pro Triathlete Ruth Astle Reveals 2023 Finances After a big 2022, Astle candidly shares what a not-so-successful season looks like, financially, for a pro triathlete.

It started with a phone call by an eager voice that he want to learn to swim in lake, but parents are againts it because of various threats, major being depth of the lake and crocs, so I asked him to come to watch us swim during our open water weekly session in the lake, but then one day he called in the evening saying he wants to visit my home with his uncle, who turns out to be Nasser Ali Bhai from Bsss whom I knew before and we sat and explained to them how i teach ow swiming starting from pool once you learn basics and develop endurance then lake, and he joined very next day, a very dedicated young man, trying his best to give in 100% all the time, then he got mentor as Zamran, and Sameer followed him toes to toes in all workouts, becuase of which he easily finished and is already working on next target with him.
Todays solo swim shows the confidence Sameer has in self which changed him from just dreaming watching from the vip road in feb'23 to swim in the lake to first solo swim now in Dec'23

I get this question a lot when people see me teaching swimming that I know swimming just can't breathe pls tell me how to do it, and I can't stop my smile as breathing comes easily when you learn the technique correctly and then endurance...🙂
