Inaugural session of NATIONAL WORKSHOP of All India NREG Workers Federation affiliated to AITUC Bihar going on in Madhyamik Shikshak Bhawan Jamal Road Patna.
Comrade D P Yadav is greeting the Workshop. Prior to it AITUC National Secretary Com Sukumar Damle & Com Ghaznafar Nawab have greeted the occasion. AINREGWF President Com Chengara Sudarshan told that the Long Struggle of CPI & AITUC in making "Right to Work Guarrenty" be fundamental right came into Central Act by Left Persuasion in UPA -1, Tenure while UPA-1 Govt was running with the Left support in Centre while 64 Left MPs were in the Term. The Act was framed. But the scheme could provide 100 Days Work Guarrenty Per Annum. But at the implementation end only accepting Keral no other state is providing 100Days Work. Kerala is providing Rs.25,000/- to the next keen on the death of NREG Worker on work site. Largest number of Work force are no aware about the provisions of the act so also it's smooth implementation. So we decided in our Chandigarh meeting to hold a National Workshop at Patna. Accordingly we are holding the workshop here to educate our rank & file. Keral has its Union since last 12 Years. We have decided the demands as
1) 200 Days Work Per Annum,
2) Rs 700/- Per Day Work
3)Working Hour between 10AM & 4PM
4)Mate/ Gaon Sathi must be Skilled Workers
5)No GPS Photography be allowed
6) ESI Coverage for NREG Workers
7) Purchase of Tools must be from MGNREGA
8) NREG Workers Welfare Board must be there at State level.
9)The NREG Work must be extended to Construction, Agriculture, Fisheries & Others Works.
For achieving these we need a strong Federation of NREG Workers at National Level.
The Flag: The Flag of AINREGWF will be Red Colour 3:2
in which White Horisiontal AINREGWF & Left side vertical AITUC.
He proposed the Membership per annum @Rs10/- per annum. Out of which Rs0.50/-for Central Quota.
The unions will collect Membership in January & Federation in February every year.
