ବୁଢ଼ା ପୋଷା କୁକୁର ଟମି'କୁ ଦେଖୁଥିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ରୋଗା କୁକୁରଟା ହୁଏତ ଆଉ ବେଶୀ ଦିନ ବଞ୍ଚିବନି।
ଟମିକୁ ନେଇ ଏକ ଉଦ୍ଭଟ ଖେଳ ବିଷୟରେ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଥିଲା ସେ।ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆରେ ଏବେ ଏମିତି ଖେଳ ଭାଇରାଲ ହେଉଛି।ସେଲ୍ଫିର ଯୁଗ ଏବେ। ଯାହା କଲ, ତାର ଫଟ, ଭିଡିଓ ଉଠାଇ ଇଣ୍ଟରନେଟ ରେ ଅପଲୋଡ଼ କରିଦିଅ। ବିବାଦୀୟ ଜିନିଷ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଛଦ୍ମନାମ, ଫେକ୍ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟରୁ ଅପଲୋଡ଼ କର।
ଟମିକୁ ଗାଡ଼ିରେ ବସାଇ ଏକ ଜଙ୍ଗଲିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ନେଇଗଲା।ଏଇ ଶୁନଶାନ ଜାଗାକୁ ପ୍ରାୟ କେହି ଅସନ୍ତିନି। ଟମିକୁ ଗୋଟେ ଜାଗାରେ ବସାଇ ବିସ୍କୁଟ ପ୍ୟାକେଟ ଦୁଇଟା ଖୋଲି ତା ସାମ୍ନାରେ ପକାଇଲା। ଖୁସିରେ ଖାଇବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା ଟମି କୃତକୃତ୍ୟ ହୋଇ।
ନିଜ ପକେଟ ରୁ ଏକ ପିସ୍ତଲ ବାହାର କରି ଟମି ମୁଣ୍ଡକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ ସ୍ଥିର କରୁଥିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ଗୁଳି ଠିକ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଯେମିତି ବାଜିବ। ନିଜ ରୋଗା ବୁଢ଼ା ଜୀବନରୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ପାଇବ ଟମି । ଛଟପଟ ହୋଇ ଟମି ମଲା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ନିଜ ମୋବାଇଲ ରେ ରେକର୍ଡିଂଗ କରି ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆରେ ଅପଲୋଡ଼ କରିବ "ମୌତ କା ଖେଲ", "ସେଲ୍ଫି'ର ଖେଳ"। ଏବେ ଏମିତି ବିବାଦୀୟ ଭିଡିଓ ବହୁତ ଭାଇରାଲ ହେଉଛି। କିଛି ଦିନ ତଳେ ଛାତରୁ କୁକୁର କୁ ପକାଇବା ର ଓ ନିଆଁ ଜାଳି ସେଥିରେ ବି ଫୋପାଡିବାର ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବି ଅପଲୋଡ଼ କରିଥିଲେ କିଛି ଲୋକ।
ନିଜ ମୋବାଇଲକୁ ସେଲ୍ଫି ମୋଡ଼ ରେ ଅନ କରି, ଟ୍ରିଗର ଉପରେ ହାତ ଦେଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ସାମାନ୍ୟ ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣି ଟିକେ ଅନାଇଲା ଟମି।ତା ଦୁଇ ଆଖି ମଝି କପାଳକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରୁଥିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। କୁକୁର କଣ ଜାଣିପାରିବ ମୁନିବ ଇଛା କଣ ?
ହାଠାତ୍ ଘଟିଗଲା ଅଘଟଣ। ସିଧା ଲମ୍ଫ ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲା ଟମି ,ପ୍ରକାଶ ଛାତି ଉପରକୁ। ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ନଥିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ଭାରସାମ୍ୟ ହରାଇ ତଳେ ପଡିଗଲା। ହାତରୁ ଛିଟିକି ପଡ଼ିଲା ପିସ୍ତଲ। ଟମି ଏମିତି କାହିଁକି କଲା ? ସେ କଣ ଜାଣି ପାରିଲା ?
ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ସେ ଦେଖୁଥିଲା ଟମି ଲଢୁଥିଲା ଏକ ବିରାଟକାୟ ନାଗ ସାପ ସହ। ଏ ସାପ ପ୍ରକାଶ ପଛପଟେ ଥିଲା ! ହେ ଭଗବାନ !
ସାପ ସହ ଲଢୁଥିଲା ଟମି। ବଡ଼ ପାଟିରେ ଭୁକି, ନିଜ ଦାନ୍ତରେ କାମୁଡ଼ିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଥିଲା।ସାପ ବି ଫୁତ୍କାର ମାରି ଟମିକୁ ଚୋଟ ମାରୁଥିଲା। ହତବାକ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରକାଶ ଦେଖୁଥିଲା କୁକୁର ଓ ସାପ ଲଢେଇ। ପିସ୍ତଲ ଉଠାଇ ଆଣି ହାତରେ ଧରିଥିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ।ସାପକୁ ଗୁଳି ମାରିବାକୁ ବୋଧେ ଭୁଲି ଯାଇଥିଲା ସେ। ତେବେ ସାପ ଯଦି ତାକୁ ଏବେ ଚୋଟ ମାରୁଥାନ୍ତା !
କିଛି ସମୟ ପରେ ଟମି ଓ ସାପ ଉଭୟେ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହୋଇ ପଡ଼ିଗଲେ। ଦୁହିଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
ପିସ୍ତଲ ପକେଟରେ ରଖି, ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ ଦେଖିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ଗୋଟେ ବାଡିରେ ସାପ'ର ମୃତ ଶରୀର କୁ ଉଠାଇ ଦୁରକୁ ଫୋପାଡ଼ି ଦେଲା।ଆହା ବିଚରା ଟମି। ଗୁଳିରେ ନମରି ସାପ ଚୋଟରେ ମଲା।ଆଜି ତାର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବୋଧେ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଥିଲା।
ଟମି ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ ତା ମୁଣ୍ଡକୁ ଆଉଁଶି ଦେଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ଟମି କଣ ଜାଣିଥିଲା ତା ମାଲିକ ତାକୁ ମାରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏଠାକୁ ଆଣିଥିଲା ? ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ କୁକୁର କାହିଁକି ବା ଜାଣିବ ଅବିଶ୍ବାସୀ ମଣିଷ ର ଛନ୍ଦ କପଟ !
ଭଲ ହୋଇଛି ଜାଣିନି। ବିଚରା ପ୍ରଭୁଭକ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ କୁକୁର ମାଲିକ ର ଜୀବନ ବଞ୍ଚାଇବାକୁ ଯାଇ ନିଜେ ପ୍ରାଣବଳି ଦେଲା। ନିଜ ଧର୍ମ ପାଳନ କରି ଅମର ହୋଇଯାଇଛି ଟମି।
ହାଠାତ ପ୍ରକାଶ'ର ମନେପଡ଼ିଲା ଯେ ମୋବାଇଲ ଅନ ଅଛି ଓ ସାପ କୁକୁର ଲଢେଇର ସେଲ୍ଫି ରେକର୍ଡିଂଗ ହୋଇଛି। ଟମିକୁ ଶେଷ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଭାବେ ଏଇ ଭିଡିଓ କୁ ଅପଲୋଡ଼ କଲେ ଭାଇରାଲ ହୋଇଯିବ।
ଟମି ର ନିଶ୍ଚଳ ମୁଣ୍ଡକୁ ନିଜ କୋଳରେ ରଖି ଏକ ସେଲ୍ଫି ନେଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ। ନିରୀହ ଟମି ର ଦୁଇ ଆଖି ଖୋଲାଥିଲା । ହଠାତ୍ ପୁଣି ସାପ ଦେଖିଲା ପରି ଚମକି ପଡ଼ିଲା ପ୍ରକାଶ।
ଟମି'ର ସେଇ ଦୁଇ ଢଳଢଳ ଆଖିରେ ଥିଲା ଏକ ଅବିଶ୍ଵାସୀ କୃତଘ୍ନ ମାଲିକ'ର "ସେଲ୍ଫି" !!!

Salutations and prostrations unto Thee.
Thou art Satchidananda.
Thou art Existence-Consciousness-Bliss Absolute.
Thou art Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient.

Grant us an understanding heart,
Equal vision, balanced mind,
Faith, devotion and wisdom.
Grant us inner spiritual strength
To resist temptations and to control the mind.
Free us from egoism, lust, greed, hatred, anger and jealousy.

*✍ What are the precautions we should take to live a happy retirement life?* 🙏

1. Do not stay with your married children. *Stay near to them* or as a neighbor. Give freedom to them and take your freedom. *Do not give suggestions unless asked*.
2. *Love more than ever , your spouse. Talk pleasantly. As far as possible travel jointly*.
3. *Have regular health checkups. Do not hesitate to spend on this subject.*
4. *Look after your wealth*. See that it does not go out of your hands. *Beware of deceivers.* Usually they are your well known persons. *Do not be get duped by high interest rates of a new bank.*
5. *Give gifts to children , grand children and near relatives on every event however small it is.*
6. *Keep in phone contact with all your well wishers.*
7. You may begin to forget names and events. *Maintain a diary.*
8. *If you are male shave daily. Wear best dress , when you go outside.*
9. *Greet your family doctor on every occasion*
10. Do not eat or drink much when you are outside. *Avoid hotels*.
11. *Have a good alarm system in your house. Keep a walking stick, a torch , a whistle and fire crackers in the house for emergency.*
12. Be careful about your *housemaids. They should not see your wealth.*
13. *Always make nominations for your bank and other accounts*.
14. *Make a will*,even though you are poor.
15. After 60 years of age, the uncertainty of life becomes more certain. *You can kick bucket anytime. Be ready for it.*
16. After 60 , you begin to think and care about yourself, rather than others. It is normal.And after 80 years,if you still live, the relatives shall be wondering how and why you are still living!That is also normal.

This Little Known Chinese Herb + Iron Kills 98% of Cancer Cells in 16 Hours
According to studies that were published in an issue of Life Sciences, artemesinin – a derivative of the wormwood plant used in Chinese Medicine – can kill 98% of breast cancer cells in less than 16 hours.

The herb used alone caused a 28% reduction in breast cancer cells, but when paired with iron, sweet wormwood was able to eradicate cancer almost entirely. What’s more, normal cells were not negatively affected in the experiment by this treatment.

Artemisinin has been used in the past as a powerful anti-malarial herb, but it now has been proven to be a cancer-fighter, too. When subjects in the published study were given an iron supplement, which often accumulates in the breast tissue but especially so in cancerous cells, the artemisinin was able to selectively target ‘bad’ cells and leave ‘good’ cells alone.

“Taken together, our results demonstrate that the artemisinin disruption of E2F1 transcription factor expression mediates the cell cycle arrest of human breast cancer cells and represents a critical transcriptional pathway by which artemisinin controls human reproductive cancer cell growth.”

Iron accumulates in cancerous cells due to special receptors that help them in cell division, called transferrin receptors. Normal cells likely have these receptors as well, but cancerous cells have them in greater abundance, and thus can be targeted by the iron-artemisinin combination, like a 1-2 punch.

There have been many experiments now that prove this sweet wormwood derivative can effectively eradicate disease in the presence of iron. The extract has been used for thousand of years in China to treat malaria.

The malaria parasite cannot live in the presence of artemisinin because they are iron-rich, but the treatment works just as well for cancerous cells, too. Bioengineers Henry Lai and Narendra Singh of the University of Washington, Seattle were the scientists who initially made this discovery.

This is yet another example of a natural herb causing cancerous cell apoptosis.

While the sweet wormwood extract has been somewhat difficult to obtain for a fair price for countless years, it is now on its way to being mass-produced by biotech. Will the result be positive and promising?

“It’s the volatility that really makes the supply chain for this life-saving drug just a complete train wreck,” says Jack Newman, chief scientific officer of the California-based biotech firm Amyris. ”When we first started talking about this,” Newman says, “we gave it 1,000 to 1 odds of ever working. “

French drugmaker Sanofi is expected to make 50 to 60 tons of artemisinin each year, striving to supply enough demand for the global market.

ईश्वर हर जगह है तो दिखाई क्यों नहीं देते?

एक दिन महाराष्ट्र के प्रसिद्ध संत नामदेव आश्रम में अपने शिष्यों को प्रवचन दे रहे थे। वे भक्ति और ज्ञान का महत्व समझा रहे थे। तभी उनके एक शिष्य ने पूछा कि ईश्वर हर जगह है तो दिखाई क्यों नहीं देते? अगर भगवान हैं तो उन्हें कैसे प्राप्त किया जा सकता है?

संत नामदेव ने एक अन्य शिष्य को एक लोटा पानी और थोड़ा सा नमक लाने के लिए कहा। शिष्य तुरंत ही ये दोनों चीजें लेकर आ गया। आश्रम में उपस्थित लोग सोच रहे थे कि पानी और नमक का इन प्रश्नों से क्या संबंध है। संत नामदेव ने शिष्य से कहा कि पानी में नमक मिला दो। शिष्य ने तुरंत ही गुरु की बात मानकर ऐसा ही कर दिया। इसके बाद संत ने प्रश्न पूछने वाले व्यक्ति को लोटा देते हुए कहा कि तुम्हें इस लोटे में नमक दिखाई दे रहा है?

शिष्य ने कहा कि नमक तो पानी में घुल गया है, वह दिखाई नहीं दे रहा है। तब संत ने कहा कि इसे चखकर देखो, क्या इसमें नमक का स्वाद आ रहा है? शिष्य ने पानी चखा तो वह खारा था। उसने कहा कि इसमें नमक है, पानी खारा है। इसके बाद संत ने कहा कि इस पानी को कुछ देर उबलों। उबलते-उबलते सारा पानी भाप बनकर उड़ गया।

संत ने शिष्य से लोटे में देखने के लिए कहा और पूछा कि क्या इसमें कुछ दिख रहा है? शिष्य ने लोटे में देखते हुए कहा कि गुरुजी पानी तो भाप बनकर उड़ गया, इसमें नमक के कण दिखाई दे रहे हैं। संत ने कहा कि तुम्हें पानी में मिला हुआ नमक दिखाई नहीं दिया, लेकिन तुम उसका अनुभव कर पाए, ठीक उसी तरह भगवान भी इस सृष्टि के कण-कण में विराजमान है, लेकिन वह दिखाई नहीं देता, उसे सिर्फ अनुभव किया जा सकता है। जब हमने खारे पानी को उबालो तो सारा पानी भाप बनकर उड़ गया और हमें नमक के कण दिखाई दिए। ठीक इसी तरह भगवान को पाने के लिए हमें भक्ति, ज्ञान, ध्यान और धर्म-कर्म के जरिए खुद की बुराइयों को खत्म करना होगा। मन की पूरी शुद्धि के बाद ही भगवान को प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

अक्सर हम लोगों के जीवन में यह देखा जाता है कि हम सब को आंतरिक शांति तो चाहिए लेकिन हमारे सारे प्रयास बाहर की तरफ ही होते हैं। ये तो ठीक ऐसा ही हुआ जैसे अंधेरा घर के भीतर है और हम घर की देहरी से बाहर दीप जलाकर उस अंधेरे से लड़ने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।
प्रयास में कोई कमी भी नहीं है, भरपूर प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। मगर बावजूद इसके अंधेरा है कि टस से मस होने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। प्रयास पूरा है केवल दिशा गलत है।

*मन किसका है - हमारा स्वयं का।*
*इसे भटका कौन रहा है - हम स्वयं ही।*
*अशांत किसने किया - हमने स्वयं ने।*
*तो अब इसे शांत कौन करेगा - हम ही स्वयं करेंगे।इसमें किसी और का कुछ भी लेना - देना नहीं है।*

भीतरी शांति के प्रयास के लिए बाहरी दौड़ तनिक भी बुद्धिमत्ता नहीं, उसके लिए भीतर ही प्रयास करो! समय लग सकता है मगर बदलाव अवश्य आयेगा।
