JAAGO is a socio-educational club that believes in the power of Education and advocates its strength by providing education to the underprivileged kids.
Some famous person once said "every story i create, creates me in return". That's very rightly said, as when a person is strong willed to do something, then he is bound to turn all the hurdles thrown at him into the stepping stones of his success. That's the very thing that characterises JAAGO, which in spite of all the difficulties, has come a long way, overcoming all the stigma attached with soc
ial work, championing the motto of making the world a better place to live in. JAAGO is relentlessly working to bring about that change, which would help make a big difference not only in the society but also in the way people think about social work. it truly symbolizes the following lines-"trying to be a rainbow in someone's cloud" , which is a thought worth pausing for. In order to stand by its motive of spreading the torch of social awakening amongst individuals, it organises events related to socially relevant issues round the year, like food wastage , female education etc to name a few which are necessary but often neglected, thereby rightfully proving that never singly, but together, we can always build blocks of a united society, that would be free from the clutches of various social and economic disparities prevalent in it. It is a club that aims not only on the education but also on the spiritual and moral development of the children. It aspires to make them mentally and morally prepared for the decisions that they will take in their life time and also helps them in learning how a small decision can change their life as Education can be bought but not morals and ethics. These are the things one perceives and absorbs from the environment and people around him. Jaago not only concentrates on the education but is connected to each and every cause that benefits the mankind, in one way or the other. Thus, right from picking up brooms to clean the society off its ills, till rallying for those extra miles to get ahead of all those strings that stagnate the growth of our society, JAAGO has left no stone unturned to achieve its vision over a span of so many glorious years. Undoubtedly, it foresees to undertake many more ventures and get them to ground, out from the grey cell of remotest corner of any mind which is bothered to see empty stomachs going to sleep or a 10 year old picking up rags. As they believe, that in order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present, so does JAAGO. its firm conviction of building a future in which all may thrive together, capable of marching towards a better and a more prospective tomorrow, keeps the flame behind its torch ignited, since its inception, and till all the times to come. Like the lines that follow, we instill within us their true intent which is very close to what JAAGO envisions to achieve:-
“to know is power, so let us then be wise,
And use our brains with every good intent,
So at the end when we come with tired eyes,
And give to humanity more than what we lent.”
