While we live in a country which sees festivals and celebrations all year round, Diwali is one of the most awaited festivals for the entire country. “I remember I was in Chennai years ago - a routine medical checkup showed the triglycerides and cholesterol, both were way beyond normal. The consulting doctor cautioned me that I needed to make changes to my lifestyle habits; I was recommended to reduce my weight and keep it under check to have healthy lipid profile. It was easier said than done – I was in rotating shifts at work, sometimes manning graveyard hours for 10-12 hours at a stretch, with shifts rotating every 2 days – it was dizzy enough to throw the out of gear.
