Our Academy played host to ESI Football team, Chennai for the past ten days at our ground in their preparation for the upcoming All India inter ESI Tournament scheduled to be held at Pune from next week. Wisdom Sports Academy wishes them all the very best in their endeavours at Pune.

Today our Senior Team (Sharath/Merlin group) played a practice match against Hungry Legs, Annanagar. Our boys put up a splendid show and drew the match 4- 4 against a reputed opposition which consisted of 4 players from Super League Kishore 2, Yuvanesh 1 and Safiullah 1 were the scorers Congrats boys and Coaches. Keep up the good work and keep rocking too

Shri Pugalendhi former Sub Junior (1992) Junior (1997 - captained the side) and Senior ( Santhosh Trophy - 2002, 2003 and 2004) State Player visited our Academy today and gave a pep talk to our students. Shri Pugalendhi is at present playing for Pheonix Veterans and has represented his club at various international tournaments. We thank him on behalf of the Academy. Hope his association with the Academy continues.

Today our Academy's Coach Shri Merlin, a former State Player, I League player with Indian Bank and a Sports Recruit with Accountant General Office, Chennai honoured our Academy boys (under 19 and Under 21) who won three trophies last year with gifts on his behalf. The informal function was attended by Shri Idaayath Basha, Director, IBNL Management P. Ltd and Proprietor, BIB Sat, Network, Shri Prashant, Developer and Shri Isaac, Railways and Coaches S/Shri. Alexander, RBI, Sharath, E.B, Suresh and Sudha.

The Academy thanks Shri Merlin and the Guests on this occasion and wishing your association with us continues for many more years to come to achieve the desired results.

Dear Parents, Patrons, Coaches and Students

The Academy's second In-house Tournament finals and prize distribution ceremony was conducted on 29.1.2022 at Trustpuram Corporation Play Ground, Kodambakkam, Chennai. The Chief guests who graced the occasion were Shri Radhakrishnan, International Hockey Player and Officer with RBI, Chennai, Shri Kirubanandan, former State Player/ Sport recruit (Football) and Officer with RBI, Chennai, Shri Idaayath Basha, Director, IBNL Management P Ltd and BIB Sat. Network, Shri Balu, Chartered Accountant , Shri Usman Nasir, Nissan, Shri Anand, State Player and Sports Recruit with Income Tax, Ground Seniors,Veterans and Parents.

The tournament was a huge success. On this occasion, I thank you all for making this happen. Keep supporting us to grow more on the sporting side. A special thanks to Alex, Sharath, Merlin, Suresh and Sudha Coaches. Not to forget the contributions made by S/Shri Silambarasan, Prashanth, Arun Kumar, Sudhakar @ Appean and our ground Seniors and Veterans. On this occasion we also remember our founder Shri Elavarasan, Shri Jayakumar, Chief Coach and Well wisher Shri Kumar who are not with us today We pray for their soul.

Dear Parents, Patrons and Students

Our Academy's Under 10 Team participated in their age category tournament at Nandanam today. The tournament was conducted by Friends Football Club, Nandanam.

Our boys were the ultimate champions beating FFC by 5-3 in the Semis and Gopalapuram FC by 3-1 in the finals. Congrats boys and Coach ( Sudha Coach). All the very best and keep rocking

The Academy is happy to announce that Shri John Andrew (Seniors Group) has been shortlisted for final trials to be held at Mumbai. He will be playing for DK Parmha FC, Mumbai. We wish him all the very best and hope he makes it to the team. The Academy also thank the Coaches who made this possible.

Dear all

Our Academy's under 19 Team participated in the State Level Seven a Side Football Tournament organised by Sportznation Marx Football Academy at Mannargudi between 15th to 17th October 2021. The team put up a wonderful display and were IInd Runners up.
The team beat S.N. College, Team from Nagore, and lost to Pothakudi. Congrats and wishing you all the very best in the coming days .

Our Tamilnadu Team comprising five of our Academy players were winners in the South Zone Mini Football National Championship - 2021 conducted at Irungattukottai, Kancheepuram

The team defeated Andra Pradesh 4-0 (Yuvanesh and Kishore were among the scorers) and defeated Karnataka 3-1 in the finals.

In the under 21 Category too the team emerged winners defeating Karnataka 2-0 in the finals. Yugendran and Shabeer Basha of our Academy represented the winning team. Congrats to both the team. Keep the good work going and keep improving boys.

We are happy to announce that six of our Academy boys who represented Chennai District in the Tamilnadu State Level Mini Football Championship 2021 conducted at Salem have been selected to represent the State Team (Seniors - South Zone) to be conducted at Irungattukottai, Kancheepuram District on 2nd and 3rd of this month. The Academy wishes them all the very best. Hope many more would continue the good work done by them.
