Presenting the next act for World Fest 2022 ,Tim Vantol is an indie singer from Netherlands! He currently resides in Germany and frequently tours all over the country. Apart from making legendary covers, he thrives when he composes his original music.

“My songs are always written from my own perspective, but at the same time I want them to be as open as possible”, he says. Tim believes that even when people find themselves at rock bottom, there is always a reason to keep going, and his songs inspire people to do just that.

Some of his fan-favourite hits include Better Days, Burning Desires and If We Go Down, We Will Go Together!

HNH Powerpack Dance Crew is an award-winning street dance troupe from Accara, Ghana. Quite recently, they won Ghana Dance Crew and Ghadia awards for doing what they do best. Their fiery moves will not let you bat your eyelid even for a split second. They are going to be performing to some amazing hits that will leave you absolutely astounded.

Best of all, you get to join in on an interactive session with them where you can learn their steps live from the troupe right after their performance.

The next act in the World Fest Arts series is Dan Ahtola, a hypnotherapist all the way from Sweden! He is the founding creator of the technique TranceMorf that is a transformative experience in personal and spiritual development. He also received the Golden Buzzer in Sweden's Got Talent for the mastery of his art.

Dan is joining us on 7th January at 6PM (IST) to take you on a path down your subconscious where you will discover things unheard of.

World Fest's next act is Robin Packalen, a pop singer from Finland! He started out as a teen pop artist and is now one of the 70 best-selling artists of all-time in his country.

He has won four Finnish Grammys and has had massive success in his home country for several years making him one of Scandinavia’s biggest superstars. Most of the albums released by this Finnish singer have topped the Finland music charts and his tracks are indeed a treat to our ears!

Presenting to you, the classical opening for Pop Fusion Night 2022, Malavika Sundar! She is a pan-Indian playback singer with numerous hits in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. You would remember her from timeless numbers such as “Karuppu Nerathazhagi” and “Kannum Kannum Plus”. She is best known for her stint in reality shows such as Indian Idol and Super Singer. She makes a very distinctive attempt to blend carnatic music with other contemporary genres. Her flagship series titled ‘The Candlelight Studio’ is repeatedly viral due to her beautiful rendition of popular songs. Join her on 9th January at 6:30PM as she performs your favourite songs at Central Lecture Theatre, IIT Madras and enjoy the livestream experience from the comfort of your homes.

Meraki, Saarang 2022 is here to enthrall you guys with an array of fascinating and interesting workshops!
For the first workshop in this online edition, Meraki brings to you the the "Digital Mandala Art" workshop conducted by Prackriti Singh. Her artwork has dazzled people all over the world, and have captivated all with their stunning acts across many National and international platforms. Join us on 6th January at 3:00 pm to be a part of this eye-catching performance by the amazing Prackriti.

Next up, we have a unique and entertaining Bottle Decoupage workshop. *Tanvi Shah*, our artist, is a self-taught decoupage specialist and tutor. She also marked her presence as a well-known mixed media artist and a rising paper crafter. Be there on 8th January at 5:00 pm to witness her decoupage session.

Finally, we bring you an incredible visual art workshop by Vikrant Sh*tole. He is an established artist, best known for his wonderful watercolors.
His quest for finding various subjects of painting led him to master this art. See you at 3 PM on 9th Jan and be a part of this transcendental artistic experience!

Revealing the main act for the Pop Fusion Night - Palak Muchhal!

Palak is the melodic voice behind ‘Chahun Main Ya Naa’ (Aashiqui 2) and ‘Kaun Tujhe’ (M.S. Dhoni). She is an award-winning playback singer who can mesmerise you in not only Hindi, but Tamil and Telugu as well!

In addition to being a successful singer, she has also been recognised for her achievements in social work by the Guinness Book of World Records, as she has donated a lot of her earnings towards the heart surgeries of children who couldn’t afford them.

So join us for an enthralling night to witness one of the most beautiful voices of our country at Saarang’22.

Informals Club brings a treat for all you super sleuths out there. Cluedo, a murder mystery begging to be solved by amazing Humans/Detectives out there. Prove that nothing misses your eye and that you can uncover the impossible.
For the Robert Langdons and the Indiana Joneses, Crypt Hunt is just the event for you. A collection of crytic clues that would be gut-wrenchingly simple only if you could crack it. Bring your smartest brains and remember, not everything is as it seems.

UNFOLD: Outfits can be both luxurious, sophisticated, powerful, classy, elegant and modest. Here, Lifestyle club provides an occasion to flaunt and exhibit your love towards fashion, creativity and editing. UNFOLD is an exhilarating event in which participants have to make transition reels from one outfit to another outfit(s). Participants will be recording and editing 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and a new creative toolset to transition himself/herself from a casual outfit to a fashionable outfit or outfits.

Costume Cameo: “When given the opportunity, wear the costume”. Costumes can impress or depress. Clothes make a statement, costumes make a story. Lifestyle Club presents an interesting online competition where you can thematically dress for a date, marriage, halloween and even a job interview. Each participant should send a minimum of 3 photos (front, back and side) and maximum of 8 photos.

Chef’s table: Life is a combination of magic and cuisine. Food is our common ground, a universal experience. It will be a food based event in which participants will send in a few pictures of the dish they have cooked along with the ingredients used and a short description of the dish. A minimum of three pictures, along with a video description, should be sent.

World Fest's second act is Love X Stereo, an electric duo from South Korea! Consisting of lead vocalist and synthesizer player Annie Ko and guitarist and producer Toby Hwang, they are one of the most eminent K-Indie music bands and have created their own trademark in Electro-rock.

Their previous tracks Push the Play and Rebel Dress have all displayed their love for electronic music. From getting nominated for the Best Dance and Electronic Album of the year at the prestigious Korean Music Awards to winning the Best Music Video of 2018 at the Canada International Music Festival for their song Rage is not Enough, they've seen it all. With heavy synthesizers and drum machines, their newest track All3 is all set to release at Saarang, as a part of its world premiere.

Kicking off World Fest for Saarang 2022, we have a flamboyant Melbourne-based didgeridoo player - Mitch Tambo. Blending traditional Aboriginal sounds and language with contemporary beats and production, Mitch is a new voice for a generation producing music that cuts across cultures and lifestyles.

After becoming a finalist in the 9th season of Australia's Got Talent. Mitch Tambo has released numerous tracks and also hosts a talk show. Being a cultural practitioner with a passion for diversity awareness, Mitch is all set to perform at Saarang on *6th January, at 2 PM*.

Sucheta Dalal has been India's leading financial journalist for over 2 decades and has rocked the financial world multiple times. Events from her life have inspired 'Scam 1992' and 'The Big Bull' both of which are based on her own book 'The Scam: Who Won, Who Lost, who Got Away'. She later went on the become the Financial Editor of Times of India. Each member of the band has achieved great heights individually, Wah Da Fu was the Indian Beatbox Champion 2018, Sonu BBX has been featured on a track in 'Gully Boy', Shivali is the Collosal 4.0 Beatbox Champion and Mihir has founded the Bombay Beatbox Community.
