The Sports Day celebrated on April 9, 2024, showcased athletic excellence and teamwork, as dedicated athletes were honored amidst cheers. Dr. K. Murugavel, Former Registrar, Senior Professor, and Head of the Department of Physical Education at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He extended his congratulations to the teams for their efforts and also distributed prizes. The events proceeded smoothly with high spirits, witnessing mass participation from both students and staff members. Vice Chancellor Dr. V. Bharathi Harishankar expressed her appreciation for the teams, acknowledging their hard work and achievements. On 21 March 2024, the Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women became one of the launch pads for awareness on the Government of India's Viksit Bharat @2047 Mission through an Awareness Rally held on the campus premises. Flagged off by the Vice Chancellor, Dr V. Bharathi Harishankar and the Registrar, Dr S. Kowsalya, the campus echoed the powerful slogans on youth and women led development raised by nearly 100 student volunteers. The rally set the ball rolling for inspirational thoughts and innovative actions for a gender inclusive national development.

The workshop was conducted by Er. P. Karthikeyan and Er. G. Krishnaraaju, trainers from Edifice Technologies in Coimbatore.
