Itโs that time of the year where I need to be some place else and the only thing I can think of is warmer weather while it pours outside ๐งณโ๏ธ๐๏ธ๐งก

Intermittent Fasting can be done in these manners
1. 12:12 - fasting for 12 hrs & eating for 12 hrs
2. 16:8 - fasting for 16 hrs & eating for 8 hrs
3. 20:4 Warrior Method - fasting for 20 and eating for 8
4. Alternate day fasting
5. A weekly 24 hr fast
6. Fasting for 2 days a week
Doโs and Dontโs of IF
1) What kind of liquids can you consume - All liquids that have 0 calories eg plain water but no salt, sugar should be added. These drinks also boost metabolism
Can I drink milk coffee and tea- it is a complete food in itself. But you can engage in black tea and black coffee. Tho try avoiding because due to high caffeine it increases cortisol and insulin. They do not provide the body with cellular purification. Green tea should be limited coz it does contain a small amount of caffeine. Fresh fruit juice, coconut water and vegetables juice should also not be consumed in fasting window
2) Choose your fasting window mindfully: choose a window that does not require you to be physically active or engage with people or in social activities which make you eat or drink. Using your sleep time in your fasting window can be quite helpful.
3) Workouts during fasting window: walks and light workouts are all doable. Avoid heavy workouts, hiit, cardio during this time as such type of workouts require the body to recover and thus need nutrition.
4) Supplements and Medicines during IF: If a medicine is supposed to be consumed empty stomach then you can eat it during IF and avoid the oneโs to be consumed with food or after food. Also my recommendation is if you are on medication consult your doctor before you start IF. If someone is pregnant / lactating mother / underweight or an athlete then they require regular intake of nutrition thus IF is not ideal in such cases.
5) What if you are not able to keep up in the fasting window - when you adapt to any new regime chances of withdrawals are bound. At such times you need to excercise self control and understand your body is in a purifying and fat burning stage and hydrating can help you cope up. But if you face extreme headaches, fatigue etc then donโt be harsh on yourself.

PCOS ALERT โผ๏ธ
Pcos / Pcos is not created overnight thus a pill is not going to be your solution. Until you create significant lifestyle changes especially dietary changes I am sorry you will see extremely slow progress or maybe a stronger relapse.
Take it from someone who battled for more than 10 years with this horrible syndrome that medicines have little effect on Pcos.
When you read all that you have to omit and limit donโt take it that the Universe is taking all hot away from you. Instead create habits that are long term and sustainable.

All that you need to avoid first limit it.
โ
Pcos is more psychological than physical. It first hits your mind then your body.
โ
Be aware and create substitutes and trust me there are tasty substitutes too.
โ
Portion control will take you a long way not only in Pcos but in longevity too
โ
Think positive : this is actually the toughest but only you can monitor your thoughts, only you can make the efforts of journaling, meditation and pranayamaโs

Lastly remember no one is going to do it with you itโs your life so why are you wasting and not turning your world around to heal yourself.
Also understand your body: what worked for me in Pcos is not always necessary will work for you too!!!

I was recently asked that wonโt I feel unfulfilled in my life as I go forward if I do not have a baby !!??!!
Thankfully still a fair question rather than why donโt you want one?
My answer to this and may differ from others but this is my perspective over what I want and do not want.
I do not believe that a women were only meant to give birth, there are so many layers to us as women and so much that we bring to the table and having a baby is a part of your life it cannot be your entire life or the goal of your life or your reason of fulfillment!
Happiness and fulfillment should come from within, and bringing a child into the world should be a conscious choice based on personal desires rather than seeking external validation or completeness.
It's empowering to recognize that your life is already rich and complete, and any additional choices, such as having a child, should complement rather than define your sense of fulfillment.
You should be enough!
And for me โI am Enough, sometimes I am too Muchโ ๐คช

Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of them. Even when a situation may seem personal itโs still not got to do with you. All that others do and say are projections of themselves and their internal thoughts. Everyone has their own reality and mindset.
When we take something personally we assume that they know our reality and we try to impose our reality onto theirs. When we donโt take things personally it gives us more power over our thoughts and actions.
When we donโt take things personally we can accept the individuality of another person and that they are different from us.
We have little or no control over how others view us. We only have control over how we view ourselves and how we respond to it. We make assumptions and judgements about others without even knowing the whole story. And more often we assume wrong.
Then why should we take anything personally when itโs entirely based on a wrong assumption???
