Ms. Chatterjee was instrumental in brining a closure to a protracted matriominal disputes through an amicable divorce settlement between the parties.

VMCO was able to secure an RBI approval, after it was initially rejected due to some procedural setbacks.

VMCO’s Corporate Team is being engaged by Dynamic Mining SAS (“Dynamic”), a company incorporated under the laws of Republic of Guinea, for structuring and negotiating a Haulage Service Contract for the purposes of transportation of ore from mines to port stocks.

Dynamic is a mining and exploration company established in Guinea.

Our Managing Partner is being engaged by Nagreeka Exports Limited (“Nagreeka”) to represent them in a commercial arbitration in Mumbai in relation to an insurance claim arising in connection with one Standard Fire and Special Perils Policy issued by a renowned public sector insurance company.

Nagreeka is a flagship company of Nagreeka Group. It is a leading player in the field of textiles and supplies cotton yarns and knitted fabrics.

VMCO is humbled to have been approached by and represent Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited (“ARCIL”) for seeking an intervention/impleadment in an Appeal before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (“NCLAT”) against the order admitting corporate insolvency resolution process initiated by Indusind Bank Limited against Siti Networks Limited.

ARCIL is India’s first and among the leading asset reconstruction companies in the country.

Karan Mehra, Our Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the PHDCCI - NCLT/IBC Committee, was part of a PHDCCI delegation led by Mr. G P Madaan, Chairperson of the NCLT & IBC Committee, in a meeting with Mr. Ravi Mittal, the Hon’ble Chairperson of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India ( IBBI).

The delegation apprised the Hon’ble IBBI Chairperson about the objectives of NCLT & IBC Committee of PHDCCI.

The Hon’ble IBBI Chairperson has agreed for a meeting with the members of PHDCCI in the near future.
