All the students and teachers participated enthusiastically in the Campaign "My Language My Signature" (मेरी भाषा, मेरे हस्ताक्षर).
which was initiated by the HOS by providing her signature in her mother tongue "Punjabi". This was followed by signatures by the Manager, teachers and students signed in their native language on the big canvas kept at the entrance of school and took pledge that henceforth they would try to sign in their native language.

A Special Assembly was conducted to mark the occasion of the 554th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and bring home the relevance of the Gurpurab to our young generation on November 25, 2023.
It commenced with the recitation of the Mool Mantra ‘Ek Onkar’, resonating the universe. Serenity and calmness floated in the air with the beautiful humming of the Shabads by the students.
They paid the tribute to Guru Nanak Dev Ji by spreading his divine message of harmony, humility and equality through poems and speeches.
This was followed by an informative speech by teachers giving an overview and knowledge about Guru Nanak Dev Ji's great life.
A Quiz to test the knowledge about Guru Nanak Dev Ji was also conducted to raise the awareness among students about the first Guru of Sikhism.
The HOS, Harvinder Kaur and the Manager, Savita Kapoor highlighted the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji pointing to an honest and simple life filled with universal brotherhood and motivated the students to follow the same.

To give Diwali a green makeover and celebrate Green Diwali, "Best out of Waste" activity was conducted for the students of class 6 to 8 in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School.
The students created the Best Out Of Waste items for home decoration and transformed discarded items into unique and eye-catching decor pieces.

Glimpses of Chandrayaan Utsav 🌖🌙celebrated in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School

Chandrayaan Utsav was celebrated in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School to witness that India has made history as its Chandrayaan-3 became the first to land on the South Pole region of the moon.
The Poster Making Competition was conducted on the themes – ‘India on Moon’, ‘New India on Moon’, ‘Moon is not far away’.
A lecture was delivered to make the students aware of the ISRO's journey from Chandrayan 1 to 3.

The Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji was celebrated with religious fervour in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School on 30th October, 2023. A Special Assembly was conducted by the students. The programme began with a mesmerizing 'shabad kirtan' in praise & glory of Guru Ram Das Ji. The sakhis related to the life history of the Fourth Guru enlightened & inspired all to follow the path of truthfulness, selfless service & humility.

Keeping the festive spirit alive, Dussehra Activity was conducted in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School with fervour and excitement .
The students of class -1 & 2 enjoyed the Storytelling Session which highlighted that every evil can be terminated with goodness, which always leads to peace and prosperity.

To commemorate the 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and to spread the knowledge among the students about the principles of Gandhi Ji and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 🧹🪠 , the students were made aware of the need to adopt the hygienic lifestyle and suggested to inculcate healthy living habits in and around them. Through fun based learning activity, the students got updated about the hygienic and cleanliness habits which they need to follow in their day to day life.

St. M. S. Karamjot Model School celebrated the World Ozone Day on 16th September, 2023 to spread awareness among the students about how crucial the ozone shield is for the life on Earth 🌍, its gradual depletion and the need to search for possible solutions to preserve it.
The students of Grade 2 took an oath to protect the Ozone Layer by recycling & planting more and more trees.
The Students also tried many hands-on activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing in playing their role as the protectors to the planet 🌏.

Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. M. S. Karamjot Model School on September 5, 2023.
A Special Assembly conducted by class 8 students was started with Shabad Recital.
The Paath of Shri J*p Ji Sahib was also recited by the teachers at school for the well being of the students & the school.
The teachers enjoyed the Fun filled games planned for them.
The HOS, Harvinder Kaur & the Manager, Savita Kapoor addressed the staff and students and expressed their views about the importance of teachers in the lives of students and the crucial role they play.
It was a day when the whole school paid the tribute to the teachers and faculty members.

This Raksha Bandhan, let's tie Rakhis to trees to protect our green brothers & protect the environment.
An Activity ‘Taru Bandhan’ was organized in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School on 29th August, 2023 to promote awareness about importance of trees, environmental balance and sustainable lifestyles.
The students tied rakhsi to trees and plants and took a pledge to preserve them from the axe and the saw.

St. M. S. Karamjot Model School celebrated the 77th Independence Day on August 14, 2023 with great patriotic spirit and zeal. With the motive and intention to inculcate patriotic fervour among its students, the school organized plethora of events like Poem Recitation, Delivery of Speeches, Flag Relay Race, Preparation of tricolour crafts.
The class 1 students who dressed up as Freedom Fighter raised the slogans of Martyrs of India's Freedom Struggle. The students of class -2 enjoyed the Independence Day theme party.
The HOS, Manager, School Treasurer (S. Balwinder Singh) accompanied by staff members & students unfurled the National Flag followed by the National Anthem.
The honorable School Treasurer, S. Balwinder Singh awarded the Trophy & Cash Prizes to the Merit Holders of Gurmat WrittenTest conducted by Sikh Chetna Mission in the year 2022.

The Merit Holders -2022, Sidak Kapoor from class-8 & Prabhjot Kaur from class-7 have been awarded the Cash Prize of Rs. 6000/- each in the Presentation of AGWT (Annual Gurmat Wriiten Test) - 2022 Awards organized by Sikh Chetna Mission at Gurudwara Shri Rakab Ganj Sahib on August 10, 2023.
The Punjabi & Divinity teachers, Ms. Satpal Kaur and Ms. Gurjeet Kaur have been appreciated for injecting in the minds of the younger generation
a sense of brotherhood and moral values along with the knowledge of Great Sikh History.

National Parents' Day was celebrated at St. M. S. Karamjot Model School with great enthusiasm. The students of class 3 & 4 presented a Nukkad Natak to express their love and affection towards their parents and appreciate all the parents for their selfless commitment and their lifelong sacrifices for their children.

St. M. S. Karamjot Model School celebrated the Prakash Purab of the Eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji on 12th July, 2023 in the school premises. The students of Class 1 & 2 participated in the celebration with enthusiasm by reciting Shabads and Poems. The students paid their obeisance to the Holy Guru.

Van Mahotsav 🌳🌲🌳 (Tree Planting Festival) was celebrated with great fervour in St. M. S. Karamjot Model School from 3rd July to 7th July 2023.
The students of class VIII participated in the plantation programme wherein different types of plants, like Tulsi , Basil, Curry etc. were planted by the students in the presence of the HOS and the Manger of the School. The entire event was joined by Ms. Gulshan Chawla, the Chief Mentor of School who not only gave a helping hand but also spoke to the students about the importance of herbal trees and the need to save them. The students were also asked to give names to the plants.
Junior class students participated in the Poster Making Activity on "Save Trees & Go Green".
A large number of students were given a sapling each to take home, asked to plant it in a pot and look after the same.

Driven by the motivation to thrive in a society where every individual is healthy irrespective of any discrimination with the regular practice of Yoga 🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♂️, the students & staff of St. M. S. Karamjot Model School celebrated International Yoga Day - 2023 highlighting this year’s theme, “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which represents our shared desire for “One Earth, One Family, One Future.” 🌏💞

A special assembly & cultural programme on Mother’s day was organized by Primary Wing to celebrate Mother’s day on May 12, 2023.
On the theme of ‘Mother’s Love and Sacrifice", Action Song, Drama, Shabad Recitation and Poetic Recitation were presented. The students enjoyed creating Mother's Day Crafts to make their Moms feel special.
Mothers should get a lifetime appreciation not just one special day and this is what we are trying to make our kids learn.

Let's teach our children about gender sensitivity (Behaviour that avoids discrimination by understanding and accepting the multiple differences between men and women) right from a young age.

St. M. S. Karamjot Model School marked the World Earth Day 🌍 with activities widespread to invoke respect, concern and action to conserve the natural resources. Moving with the theme- Invest in our planet, activities like in-campus plantation drive, outdoor colouring programme, poster/ handmade crafts making were held. Students through the poetical recitation expressed their loving concern for the greener earth. The students recited the Shabad "ਪਵਣੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਮਾਤਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਮਹਤੁ” with extreme dedication & took the pledge for protecting the Mother Earth.
Harvinder Kaur, HOS, in her special address to the students, mentioned the importance of being receptive to the urgent need towards securing the natural resources.

On 13th April 2022, the students of St. M. S. Karamjot Model School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi in high spirits. The primary class students dressed in colourful Punjabi attire enjoyed dancing on the beats of Dhol. The teacher made them do an art activity of ‘Things that symbolise Baisakhi’ like Dhol, harvest and kites. All the students enjoyed participating in the celebration.
The students also performed Gatka: The Sikh Martial Art, showed turban tying skills & celebrated the Khalsa Sajna Diwas with devotion.
