"Do you know?

In 1973, Indira Gandhi appointed Justice A.N. Ray as the Chief Justice of India, bypassing senior judges like Justice JM Shelat, KS Hegde & AN Grover. This caused resentment, leading to the resignation of all three judges. The Congress party justified this by stating that it is the government's prerogative to decide the CJI based on ideology.

In 1975, Justice Jagmohan Sinha was threatened when delivering a verdict against Indira Gandhi in the case of electoral corruption. He fearlessly replied that his wife had already passed away, and he delivered a historic judgment. This shook the Congress government, which then imposed the 'Emergency' to protect Indira Gandhi, not the nation.

In 1976, A.N. Ray returned the favor to Indira Gandhi by delivering a judgment in the case of Shivkant Shukla vs ADM Jabalpur that curtailed fundamental rights. Only Justice HR Khanna had the courage to dissent. Khanna was later punished, and Justice MH Baig, junior to him, was made the CJI.

MH Baig, after retirement, was appointed as the director of National Herald, a Congress-affiliated newspaper. This newspaper played a role as a mouthpiece for the Congress. Rahul Gandhi, who talks about threats to democracy, should be questioned about this.

When Indira Gandhi returned to power in 1980, MH Baig was appointed as the chairman of the minority commission and was honored with the 'Padma Vibhushan' by Rajiv Gandhi.

In 1962, Judge Behrul Islam, an MP from Congress, was appointed as a judge in the Guwahati High Court. After retirement, he was directly made a judge of the Supreme Court by Indira Gandhi. He later resigned and contested elections on a Congress ticket.

These instances highlight how the Congress party wanted control over the judiciary. They strangled democracy during the emergency and manipulated appointments to further their interests. The Congress' claims of championing democracy today are ironic considering their history of undermining it."

The Information & Broadcasting Ministry, Government of India, has issued a 'Media Advisory' regarding the coverage of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. The advisory applies to all media, both Indian and foreign, including digital and social media platforms.

In order to maintain communal harmony and public order, the ministry has requested media organizations and social media intermediaries to refrain from publishing or amplifying any content related to the temple that may be false, manipulated, or has the potential to disturb the peace.

This advisory also extends to foreign media operating in India and reporting on current affairs. Social media platforms, as per Indian rules, are expected to make reasonable efforts to prevent the circulation of such content on their platforms.

The ministry has observed the spread of unverified, provocative, and fake content, particularly on social media platforms, ahead of the upcoming celebration of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.

To ensure responsible reporting and prevent the dissemination of false information, the advisory has been issued to newspapers, television channels, digital news publishers, and social media platforms. They are advised to exercise caution and avoid publishing or telecasting any content that may disturb communal harmony or public order.

Social media platforms are also reminded of their due diligence obligations under Indian law and urged to make reasonable efforts to not host or display such content.

The advisory highlights the importance of adhering to the Programme Code under the Cable Television Networks Regulation Act, 1995, and the Norms of Journalistic Conduct laid down by the Press Council of India under the Press Council Act, 1978. These guidelines are also referenced in the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

🇮🇳 Saluting a Brave Hero: Agniveer (Operator) Gawate Akshay Laxman 🇮🇳

It is with heavy hearts that we pay tribute to a true hero, Agniveer Gawate Akshay Laxman, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. He was deployed in the unforgiving Siachen glacier, the world's highest battlefield, and laid down his life while serving our nation.

In recognition of his unwavering dedication and the tremendous sacrifice he made, As the opposition of our country misleads people of Bharath about the financial compensations ,we want to share some crucial information about the support and emoluments provided to the Next of Kin of a battle casualty Agniveer like Akshay.

As per government sources, the terms of engagement for Agniveers include the following emoluments:

1️⃣ Rs 48 Lakh Non-Contributory Insurance: To provide financial security to the family of the fallen hero.

2️⃣ Ex-gratia of ₹44 Lakh: An additional support to ease the burden during these challenging times.

3️⃣ Seva Nidhi contributed by the Agniveer (30%) with an equal matching contribution by the Government, along with interest thereon.

4️⃣ Pay for the balance tenure from the date of death until completion of four years (more than Rs 13 Lakh). This ensures that the family continues to receive financial support as per the balance residual tenure.

5️⃣ Contribution of Rs 8 Lakh from the Armed Forces Battle Casualty Fund: Ensuring that the family is provided with the necessary assistance and care.

It is essential to remember that our soldiers make unimaginable sacrifices for our safety and freedom. While no amount of compensation can ever fill the void left behind, these emoluments are a way to express our gratitude and provide some financial relief to the families of our fallen heroes.
